When you go against midir,there's these rules to follow: Never attack his arms or legs,he'll tailwhip you or use his breath which is unavoidable. He takes 50% less damage on all sources of damage if they hit anywhere but his head,his head takes full damage. Always fight midir face to face,his attacks are very easy to see and dodge with recognizable patterns. You have to fight midir like you would a gore magala in monster hunter,there's no BS to it,you fight head on or get crushed. Learn his laser attack follows up. You do NOT want to get clipped by that fucking laser after his fire breath. Even less when he goes full laser in phase 2. Keep your attacks short and sweet. Dont get greedy because midir is a test of endurance and is pretty easy with this in mind. When he begins shooting out flames and rushing forward,dodge and go hard to the left side,this should avoid that attack all together. If you do all this,he'll open up for a huge critical strike at 30% hp where you'll have a good 10s to finish him off if the crit didn't

And never (never) go under him. The weakness is his head, everything else has resistance to everything. I've played this game for years, believe me. Reminds me of so many good times, I miss this game and its players. It's a shame that Miyazaki abandons this beautiful saga for a pagan and degenerate garbage like Eldenring.
