Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I have no intentions of ever leaving this channel. I am currently at University and it's using up most of my free time. I will be graduating at the end of this year (I had to take another semester because I transferred my sophomore year), and once I am out I will be making a lot of videos that cover a large array of different topics, full-time. If you're willing to stick around, I am sure you're really gonna like what I have in store. I have a video over forgiveness, identity, citations, dietary capability, age, and many many more in mind. Hopefully though, I can still get some videos out in the meantime. Thank you so much for sticking around. It means the world to me. :) Take care, -Dale

An interesting place, indeed. Like the unexplained milky seas, or humongous ocean waves that never reach the surface (dead water), both of which have been captured in satellite images (rather, that's the best explanation for the images).
I can't believe those sounds. They seem so weird to me, where do they come from? What does the earth sound from far away? I liked the topic(s), although I like the "proper" episodes more than iftank. While your greenscreen work is good, it still could use some fixing - the light is so very yellow and the edges are very sharp. It's weirdly enough even more visible in low quality, I suppose some algorithm is working against your favour. Damn, I wanted to say something nice! Yet I'm weirdly disappointed. Your videos were so good before. Philosophical, with thoughts and the right amount of facts to make you think. Like "What Everyone Should Know About Skin Color and "Race" "
I appreciate the feedback. I made this video because I had been planning for it for quite a while now. It was fun to make and was intended to be a video to help remind everybody of my channel before I moved onto producing one of my regular videos too. The thing is, a large percentage of my most successful videos are kinds of videos that are not like the regular types of videos I make, that's because they help branch out my channel into a variety of different areas to then potentially bring people in by interesting them on what I do. Also, I have personally found that doing such is important for the growth of my channel. Not only that, but it lets me try out different things from time to time which I enjoy. So, I completely understand where you're coming from and I once again appreciate the feedback. Hopefully this reply helps a little bit. It is always nice to hear from you, take care!
As Artie Johnson used to say: "Ver-r-r-r-r-y Inter-r-resting!" All of the items were great; all were either interesting or fascinating or both, but Tetrachromacy is the one I found to be the most intriguing, by far! How others perceive the world, other humans, other animals, etc., has always been a favorite study of mine. Thanks!
The only one I previously knew was that animals with blue blood exist and that those are among the group of octopods. Neither did I know why they have that nor about the other colours of blood in the animal kingdom. And while I also knew about very small size of the spectrum of visible light in relation to the whole electromagnetic spectrum, I had no clue about the corresponding quantities. While I am dissappointed of myself, I am all the much more happy about having learned some more things. The tetrachromacy one has to be my favourite, I just have a desperate need for a fourth type of cone cells and now I know that it actually works! Get me there, modern medicine!
I really appreciate the very detailed comment! I knew when selecting those facts there was a good chance that people might know a little bit about both of them. So how I went about including them was to make sure I had an enormous amount of information that would likely include at least something new for most people. I'm happy to hear it was the right choice! They have actually done tests on rhesus monkeys [I believe](which only have two types of comes naturally) where they include a third cone into their eyes, and they are able to register the color. Even when it has been included after they were born. So it's very likely We might be able to find a way of doing it for humans. The biggest problem at the moment would most likely be that you would need to transplant them which would also mean you would need a source of these fourth types of cones. But we might find a way around it, who knows? Thanks for the comment!
I'm finishing up my BA in anthropology. I have been extremely busy over the course of last year and this year. I'll be graduating in December and will hopefully be able to do UA-cam full-time. In the meantime I hope to at least get back into the groove of things and make time for videos. Thank you for sticking around.
I'm always going to be subscribed to ThinkFact. I love the content, the humor, and the simplicity of your videos. Its awesome and I can't wait for the next video!
I really appreciate that Brenda, thank you so much! It has been challenging to actually produce videos as of recently, but I will try my best to get a video out at least once a month until December when I graduate university. Then I want to try to do UA-cam full-time. Thank you very much for the support and I hope to see you around! Take care. :)
yes, surely. they might just overproduce so that animals cant keep up eating them. i was thinking that grass usually is eaten for its seeds, although now that i think about it, grasing animals can usually digest fibre, and eat it for that reason. but if they eat grass for seeds they would chew it and destroy its possibility for germination. therefor, they should shun animals, like dandilions do, and not promote them. but perhaps the animals dont destroy the seeds and just help the plant spreading. a great fact/topic to include none the less. i will ponder more on it. great to see you produce videos. thanks.
Interesting points. Maybe plants that promote seed digestion rely on at least a few seeds make it through the digestive system, even if most are destroyed. You for the reply. I hope to see you around in future videos!
I always look forward to seeing your videos. Good facts. my favorite where pretty much the 3 you said at the end. I love the philosophy of connecting peace and war. sinking a ship with potato's made me laugh and color is so fascinating to me. Keep up the good videos!!!
I really appreciate that, thank you! Whenever I find myself worrying about UA-cam, it's knowing that there are people who do look forward to my content that makes everything worth it. I just really can't wait until I can tackle UA-cam full-time. Got to do my university stuff first though. Haha Also, that is a neat coincidence, I definitely like them for similar reasons too. Thank you for the comment, take care!
Thank you, I appreciate that! Thank you for sticking around! I hope to get out of handful of videos throughout the year. I'll be graduating in December and after that I hope to tackle UA-cam full-time! :) Hope to see you around.
Good catch, it's not uncommon for me to miss a word or two. Thank you for the comments and I appreciate you sticking around! Hopefully I'll catch you in the comment section of later videos! Take care. :)
Octopus is a Greek word. You don't pluralize Greek words by changing the "us" into an "i." You do that for Latin words. Both are technically correct though. www.merriam-webster.com/video/octopus
Hey! I appreciate that! University has been using up a lot of my time, but I will be graduating at the end of the year and hope to take on UA-cam full-time. In the meantime though, I do hope to get out a few videos before the end of the year! Thanks for sticking around!

Color-related trivia always fascinates me. When I tell people I'm color blind (red-green) the most common question I get is "So what do you see?" To which I always say, "That's impossible for me to answer because I don't know what you see." When "The Dress" meme went viral a couple years ago, and everyone argued over what color it was, I was so amused because it felt as if everyone finally realized color is a subjective perception that occurs behind our eyes AFTER light has passed through, rather than an objective constant in front of us. Consider this: When you turn off all the lights in a room, and it's completely dark, did everything change color?
That's pretty cool, quite timely. Seeing into the ultraviolet light spectrum would be interesting, I wonder if it would be useful though? Thank you for the comment!
Think Fact Well you could see some flowers really well even through obstacles usual light can't get through, like clouds. That's actually what the bees use it for. Can't really imagine how humans would benefit from that though, other than as an esthetic improvement. That might be the reason tue mutation never spread throughout the population. But it's interesting to think about anyways (kinda impossible though, can't really imagine what the uv colours look like).
Thank you, I really appreciate that. University has been taking up so much of my time, but I'm going to try to put more time into making videos now. Even though it's currently being quite a challenge. Haha Thank you very much for sticking around and for the comment. Have a good one!

I didn't know Uranus could make a such a sound. Well, it is a gas giant after all.
Yeah, Uranus puts a whole new meaning behind "breaking wind."
I think I enjoyed the battleship story the best, mostly because of its delivery. That was fantastic and hilarious.

Oh wow he is friends with Michael from Vsause how cool
It seems like I hear the word 'tremendous' much more often recently

I think tetrachromacy would be like a super power.
So the royal families are related to Lobsters, squids, and Tarantulas ?

The thing is, a large percentage of my most successful videos are kinds of videos that are not like the regular types of videos I make, that's because they help branch out my channel into a variety of different areas to then potentially bring people in by interesting them on what I do. Also, I have personally found that doing such is important for the growth of my channel. Not only that, but it lets me try out different things from time to time which I enjoy.
So, I completely understand where you're coming from and I once again appreciate the feedback. Hopefully this reply helps a little bit. It is always nice to hear from you, take care!
It's always exciting to see an update from you. Thanks for the awesome information history. I can't wait for your next upload! Keep it up!
As Artie Johnson used to say: "Ver-r-r-r-r-y Inter-r-resting!"
All of the items were great; all were either interesting or fascinating or both, but Tetrachromacy is the one I found to be the most intriguing, by far! How others perceive the world, other humans, other animals, etc., has always been a favorite study of mine.
Thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to watch!
Where the fuck you've been?
I'm finishing up my BA in anthropology. I have been extremely busy over the course of last year and this year. I'll be graduating in December and will hopefully be able to do UA-cam full-time. In the meantime I hope to at least get back into the groove of things and make time for videos.
Thank you for sticking around.
Think Fact np
[Insert obligatory he's alive comment here]
But in all seriousness, nice to see you back, I hope we can see more videos in the future!
;)
Always nice to hear from you!
I definitely hope to keep making videos in the foreseeable future! Hope to see you there! :)
Take care. :)
the spit one was most interesting, imo. it seems counterproductive.
Seems like a lot of work. It would be interesting to see how it could be effectively implemented.
yes, surely. they might just overproduce so that animals cant keep up eating them.
i was thinking that grass usually is eaten for its seeds, although now that i think about it, grasing animals can usually digest fibre, and eat it for that reason. but if they eat grass for seeds they would chew it and destroy its possibility for germination. therefor, they should shun animals, like dandilions do, and not promote them. but perhaps the animals dont destroy the seeds and just help the plant spreading.
a great fact/topic to include none the less. i will ponder more on it. great to see you produce videos.
Haha
Also, that is a neat coincidence, I definitely like them for similar reasons too.
Thank you for the comment, take care!
OMG a new Think Fact video
I know, I'm just that surprises you are.
Think Fact I'm looking forward to your new videos
Thank you, I hope you catch you in the comment section!
And "surprised as*," ah the struggles of speech to text software.
Have a good one!
oh you're back
No, I'm Dale.
Think Fact oh. Hi Dale!
Glad you're back man I've missed your videos
Thank you, I appreciate that!
Thank you for sticking around!
I hope to get out of handful of videos throughout the year. I'll be graduating in December and after that I hope to tackle UA-cam full-time! :)
Hope to see you around.
I fully expected to hear a fart after he said Uranus sounds like thos.
I loved the Blood Facts, This is one of my favorite new channels...
Happy to here, I hope to see you around! :)
You misspelled environment in the first fact. Anyways glad you are back! Love your videos!
Good catch, it's not uncommon for me to miss a word or two.
Thank you for the comments and I appreciate you sticking around! Hopefully I'll catch you in the comment section of later videos! Take care. :)
Hard to listen to "facts" when the host says words like octopusses instead of octopi. I usually wouldn't care but it's a "fact" show.
Octopus is a Greek word. You don't pluralize Greek words by changing the "us" into an "i." You do that for Latin words. Both are technically correct though.

You deserve more subs. Very good content.
Saw spit facts.
Instaclick.
You know the drill.
HOLY SHIT! YOU'RE BACK! I missed your videos, Dale!
Hey! I appreciate that! University has been using up a lot of my time, but I will be graduating at the end of the year and hope to take on UA-cam full-time. In the meantime though, I do hope to get out a few videos before the end of the year!
Thanks for sticking around!
The sound of planets are so trippy. And the moon sounds like a demon trying to escape from hell to murder me.
Because that's exactly what it is. ;)
good to see you after a long time dale. really missed your videos.
Thank you for sticking around! It's hard to produce videos while at university, I graduate in December and hope to tackle UA-cam full-time then! In the meantime though, I hope to get a few videos out throughout the year! Hopefully one or two a month. I hope to see you around!
mother of god, it's alive
And it's all thanks to burritos. College food.
Color-related trivia always fascinates me. When I tell people I'm color blind (red-green) the most common question I get is "So what do you see?" To which I always say, "That's impossible for me to answer because I don't know what you see."
When "The Dress" meme went viral a couple years ago, and everyone argued over what color it was, I was so amused because it felt as if everyone finally realized color is a subjective perception that occurs behind our eyes AFTER light has passed through, rather than an objective constant in front of us.
Consider this: When you turn off all the lights in a room, and it's completely dark, did everything change color?
the tetrochromacy one, because we're learning about eyes in biology at school right now. Normally, bees and butterflies can see ultra violet, so yeah.
Great to see you back, dude! it's been a while. Take it easy, bro
Thank you, I really appreciate that.
University has been taking up so much of my time, but I'm going to try to put more time into making videos now. Even though it's currently being quite a challenge. Haha
Thank you very much for sticking around and for the comment. Have a good one!
Damn Saturn. You sound scary
That is quite the understatement! Haha It sounds like a demented slinky.
Octopi
It always bugs me to be reminded that the correct plural is indeed "octopuses" and not "octopi".
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO, YOU MADE MY DAY
Thank you for sticking around and watching it! You made my day. :)
Uranus doesn't smell much. Uranus sounds like this *windy sound*
HOW COULD YOU RESIST MAKING A JOKE, OR EVEN CARRYING ON SPEAKING LIKE EVERY THING'S NORMAL?
Also, Woohoo, Dale is back!
Hey I finally actually knew 1 the atlatl !
