The beautiful thing about Christians and our music is that we are not in competition such as the world is - our singers actually believe what they sing about and they do it for His glory, not their own - if they truly belong to Christ Jesus.
The Kingdom Heirs rock this song out! I like it 10 times better than the Hopper's version because you can actually hear the rich bass singing. The band sounds great too! If I had to pick which one to listen to all the time...it's definitely Kingdom Heirs version over the Hoppers.
I imagine Claude Hopper has a bass voice....somewhere buried in the mix of their music. I wish that he could sing as good as Eric Bennett can. (Of course, when I say good, I mean sing as low as Eric can.) Rex Nelon had the same problem-His lower bass notes were always buried in the mix when they did their music. Both Claude Hopper and Rex Nelon should have worked with a system that would have allowed their lower notes to be heard.
Who is here in 2024??? The bass is awesome 😊😊😊 The guitarist❤❤❤
Love this song
That bass singer is awesome!

Yes, this group really performs this one well! Praise the Lord!~
How nice to be shoutin´ for the Lord Jesus,
here on earth till we meet up in heaven,
GLORY HALLELUJA FOR EVER MORE !
AMEN - hds - from Germany
I always feel so motivated listening to this song! Truly, think of the message. It's shouting time in heaven! A sinner who was lost is found! Amen!
Amazing bass! I had the pleasure of seeing them at Dollywood several years ago. I still like their sound (even though the members have changed).
Luve their harmonizing voices and in heaven oh yes sure knows I will be shouting up there when comes my time too be called away
Amen and Amen!
I know. I've been watching Dennis more and more on these videos. He's on heck of a drummer.

I like their version. Hoppers great as well.
Jesus loves so much
It's very traditional to have the quartet walk forward during the part "I'm walking on the highway with my lord"
What year was this? I recognize David Sutton and Eric Bennett from Triumphant singing, right?
Mid 90s

I love theirs and the Hoppers' over the Inspirations' version

Who was the bass and tenor after Eric and David?
Probably Billy Hodges, then currently Jerry Martin
The bass singer is Jeff Chapman
