I am so excited for the update! I used to ask the leader (And sometimes still do) to rp as prey (I usually use one of my fav ocs, Rabbit). I used to get called op sometimes bc apparently cats are able to one shot each other and every prey life form and I'm op for simply kicking back with maybe a slight scratch to distract them for a sec.

I've heard from other videos that the devs are not going to have prey fight back like in the books, and I think I also heard that you won't climb trees either. Personally I think it would be a little weird to add a climbing mechanic when you can manually jump repeatedly, might not be the most convenient but its there
Sadly I’ve heard they aren’t adding people to climb trees for birds or squirrels (so we need rn get them when they are on the floor/land) but I’m excited
I think what also will be cool if you could jump into the water to hunt fish such a the rainbows trout
Or maybe if, like, Riverclan cats have the ability to dive underwater or something :O
As one who went to the event it might take awhile since they only coded being to hunt birds and mice and there’s a scent tracking system

it's gonna be so fun! i've seen some of the tests and there will be prey scents, tracking, and other things. i think it would be so cool if cat scents would linger in places!

Hello sage! im on a diff acc, but i have some new info! its like yours but alot of people are saying thats its gonna be around the 20-to the end of march! this may not be true but so many people are discussing it. im just a normal spectator watching until the prey update is here. hope to see you respond!
The fact they only let us test it. But it’s coming out very very soon though! It’s almost finished I went to the testing game there was only a few bugs to fix :D

The rumoured release date is supposed to be near March 27th. For which reason, I cannot remember, but I recall the Developers talking about it someplace.

But yes, I still said it was rumoured to be NEAR. I gathered my estimation from a Mellowbear video, so it might not have been accurate. Still, I look forward to it! I imagine it'll release in the new 1-5 months, perhaps as early access preys that might be spread across all territories instead of territory-specific prey.
I've waited 2 years for the damn update, I can't wait any longer, but I have to remain patient and appreciate the dev's hard work and effort!
