I like the wrist rest perfectly. I find that the softer one found in Razers wrist rest isn't practical for me. So im happy with the material choice by vulcan
Future buyers of Roccat Vulcan 121 AIMO, be careful: this black model (only this model) can embed two variations concerning Titan switches (mid-2020): 1/ Titan Linear (red), more relevant for extreme gaming (such Cherry MX Red), lower course actuation. 2/ Titan Tactile (brown), more efficient for any usage (such Cherry MX Brown). Plz note Titan Tactile switches are installed on both 120 / 122 models.
tbh people always complain about the cheap keys they dont even know what a real keyboard like this is the keyboard is a mega buy i got one and its strong i mean theres always someone complains about keyboard
I had this keyboard for a year. After just a few days a cable got stuck under one if the switches and the plastic broke off from the keycap. This is a very beautiful keyboard, but it is not very durable. Also because of the mushroom shape of the keys, I often slipped on the keys, triggering multiple keys by accident. Now I replaced my Roccat Vulcon 120 Aimo for a Ducky One 2 TKL with pudding keycaps. It looks just as nice but the quality and accuracy is great.
Good lord those keys are LOUD!!! That right there kills this keyboard for me. Also, no USB passthrough is a big negative to me. For the price point the Vulcan sits at, they should have added at least 1 USB passthrough like virtually EVERY OTHER KEYBOARD has at that price point. Great looks can't quite do it for me with these few massive oversights.
Hi mate, enjoyed the video. Can you set lighting and macros and then uninstall the software and still retain the functionality? I hate having unnecessary bloatware! Thanks mate
Try now there was a software update . This is the only reason I can't recommend roccat. It randomly won't work after an update and then suddenly works again when they release another update lol. So whack .
Is the wrist thing really necessary ? I don't really feel like paying 10 more euros for a thin platic rectangle whenthe keyboard itself is already pretty expensive.
The pros : nice look aluminium plate, great RGB, magnetic wrist rests, no USB 2.0 joke (and big cable requiring two USB plugs on PC), its cable, global German build quality, ability to change the RGB intensity on the fly (FX button + encoder), Titan Tactile switches (brown). The cons : badly-designed Swarm software (limited to 5 profiles, useless features such sound on keypress, a bit "can of worms" in particular for newbies), the two visible black bolts above F1 and F4 keys, rigid plastic wrist rests, no forum/community (from official website - a bit poor IMHO), perhaps a bit expensive (but like other brands, for similar category). The Vulcan 121 AIMO is now my first choice (planned July 2020) to replace Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile crap!
I guess these keyboards (incl the vulcan 122) come only in brown switches, which is rather unfortunate. I tried a K95 RGB which had browns and they had little (barely) perceptible feedback. Imho, you're better off with reds or blues, not a "compromise" switch like the browns. If these came with blues or a clicky equivalent then I'd probably purchase it.
Hello,do you know can i use function easy shift all devices from roccat tyon mouse ? I asked because swarm not support tyon mouse So i can press easy shift on mouse and use different hotkeys on Vulkan keyboard

No replace parts and no repair service. Thank You roccat your marvelous build to last keyboard..... lasted 2 years of not so extensive use. Titan switches have an issue of getting broken so when you type you got double types or missing types. Really helpful by playing games not to mention writing passwords or typing in general. So your slogans "build to last", "best in the world", "100 million clicks", "The Titan Switch is a marvel of German engineering" and "best mechanical switch on the market" are going to trash with my keyboard beside it. The worst is that they are admitted in email that they are aware of the problem but guess what .... STILL SELLING FAULTY PRODUCT. NO ROCCAT EVER AGAIN. I hope the market will show you soon your place which is the bankruptcy. It could be great keyboard, it definitely looks good but unfortunately that is all good sides. My 170 euro is wasted but my lesson is learned. Before you buy any peripherals. First look for users reporting problems and ask company for repair service and spare parts. And dont buy anything which is not on the market for at least half year.

can u use a custom color keys on ps4?
What about the build quality? I read a few reviews that a keys lose function as there is zero help from Roccat.
Can't comment on that, no idea about customer support
it took 4 or five good strong presses on all the keys on mine and then they work perfectly. been using for 2 month. Build quality is very solid.
