there's actually an option ingame that you can set to go to 1st - 8th place board with a key, and holding a unit is literally just clicking it once (if that was a doubt)
I was wondering that too, but i finnally discovered it. If you just click an unit, a fast click, don't hold the button, it goes wherever your mouse goes, and to release it you have to click again. Now, with the unit locked in your mouse pointer with the fast click, click some of the opponnents names. That is it

Yeah I often feel like I could improve the board but it just feels risky to go for the board swap because it requires fast apm and no fuck ups.
