I got the awesome opportunity on Dec 20th to come to the aid of Sgt.Donald Hendricks enroute to his family in Arkansas.This was the most inspiring incident that has happened in my life!!!!!I't was an honor and so rewarding to help him get his truck repaired so he could get home to his family!God bless him and all his fellow soldiers.We love and respect our military up in Marion NC!!!!!!!!!!

My dads national guard unit is connected to the 82nd airborne division and i hope his guard unit doesn't get deployed to the middle east in Iraq,but thats what my famliy hopes doesn't happen.

Yeah...but we are allowed to be upset because this might be the last time we will see them. Husband is in the military.. He understands the cost and I do too. I'm fucking allowed to be upset.. it might be the last time you see someone.
I agree with you. They are not kids or "My child" the way this mother refers to her son. Dictionary says that a child is "Biologically, a child is a person between birth and puberty." Let them be men a quit calling the kids and children. That's why so many "kids"are still living at home after they are in their 20's, 30's, 40's 50's. They hear it all their life about them being "kids" or "my child" that actually become accustomed to it. I call mine "my son."

More troops than this are being deployed, but you aren't paying attention. The good thing is, neither am I. I deployed and exited the Army, but troops, whether you know it or not, are carrying the torch through the darkness.

Troops should feel confident that they now have a commander in chief who has their well being as number one priority. They will have at their disposal the best technology and intel coupled with rules of engagement that will enable them to protect themselves as well as their buddies. He doesnt like what's going on but he's gonna fight a war for warhawks. He's not fighting for trump..hes fighting for the constitution and for the American people..never for a president
