Why is this so perfectly timed? I still can't get completely get over someone I had a really big crush on that I was friends with at the time. Every time I was next to her and was talking to her and every time I made her smile and laugh filled me with a joy I hadn't ever felt before. It made me feel like I was worth something for once in the midst of all my bullies and mean comments directed at me. In the midst of me recovering from my parents' divorce, I could feel special with her....The feelings I had with her felt so good and I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her. *sigh* I didn't want to say anything, since they were leaving next year to another school, but my friend pressured me really hard into saying something about (confessing) even though I really wanted to leave it be. In the end, I gave in, and I got rejected. It was horribly awkward during that last quarter, and it has shattered the magic of my experiences with her. And she was gone. I don't want her to do well, but I still really liked her, so I can't see myself completely believing that. Maybe I just wanted her to do well...with me.... No one gets what this does to someone not even the friend that pressured me understands (yeah I'm still friends with him, even though he gets girlfriends super easy)...I haven't had feelings like that for any other girl since.
