Ahh so excited to drop this Hawaii series! The first time I went to Honolulu Hawaii was back in 2018 and I loved it so much, I have been meaning to revisit ever since. This was my first time on Hawaiian Airlines - wasn't as crowded as I thought it'd be and the food was also alright.

Aloha Janice! I agree, def not sleep and stay up when you land. And I would have recommended the Swap Meet for souveniers and Cookie Corner instead of Honolulu Cookies. Hope you had a great time in Hawaii!🤙😋

I live in the Bay Area and my friend and I love to go to Marugame Udon for their Curry Katsu Rice. The Shrimp Tempura looks better here...more crispier and very delicious.

enjoy! Hawaiian Airlines aren't too bad ... Air New Zealand are good too on that route ... I once bought Honolulu cookies back as presents and then scoffed them all on the return flight!
yeah I think Hawaiian airlines was pretty decent! haha I would've done the same if the cookies weren't in my check in luggage
Janice u have to try the Mcgriddle at Maccas! Its a breakfast item but imagine a maple tasting bun ☺️

Check out Kona Brewing about a half hour out of Waikiki heading towards Hanauma Bay. Great Brew pub with good food!
Great video. Are you going to the other islands? Maui, Kauai, Hawaii-big island? I like those because less touristy. Go to Haunama bay- like swimming in an aquarium. Also Polynesian cultural center is great with authentic night time show.

Go foodland for poke or tamashiro market for poke. Helena's for beef short rib pipikalua and lau lau. Rainbow drive in and for plate lunch. Spam musubi at 711. Lenard 's for malasada.

@JaniceFung My best advice is go with the flow. I reccomend going to the beach, eat nice food like hot pot,pho,ramen and go shopping at some only stores in oahu like miniq, hmart,

Personal question - when you and Eunice travel, what if any souvenirs do you get for yourselves? I get tshirts, jumpers and aprons. I also get snacks and cooking magazines/cookbooks specific to wear I'm visiting.
Customs at Sydney can be crazy. First time, 2012, it took hubby and I ninety minutes just standing in the queue. Last year my son and I had no waiting time.
I myself, am not a big souvenirs kinda person- I’m more on capturing photos and videos and I always write a postcard to myself!
But as for souvenirs for friends, usually snacks (like the Honolulu cookies)!

have fun. I found the food prices in haiwaii to be just crazy. If you want to experience a luau without paying the high fees, go check out the house without a key, and just go at night, they have free music and dancing show every night. just buy a drink.

Apparently American Hotels dont have kettles? I dont think I could handle. The first thing i do at a hotel is " bo sui"
Omg they do not! I usually like to drink some tea or hot water before I sleep but couldn’t do it this trip 😅
Also me asking for hot water at a restaurant confused a couple of the staff there too lol
