The other day I commented on your assessment of betting home teams on the run line. That video did change the way I look at home favorites on the run line, however with woo on the mount I simply have to take Seattle on the run line. I did a little bit of homework and the % of times that specific situation happens where the home team gives up a run in the 9th to let the team in the back door and cover the run line was very small. So if it were two teams closely matched I would say that’s the right call but this is flat out an mis match and we just saw the mariners put up 8 runs yesterday. I may consider laying the extended run line.
The issue is, it's not just that home teams can let up a run/s in the 9th, they may go into the 9th leading by a run. That said, I took the White Power Sox (it's just a dumb joke) +.5 (first 3), but Chicago's bullpen is sooooo bad, I don't hate taking Seattle -1.5
So far I've put in Balt ML, Jays ML, and White Power Sox +.5 (First 3). There are some other games I like too. FYI, the White Power Sox (it's just a dumb joke, relax) have been decent on the run line recently, and I like Drew Thorpe, but their pen is absolutely atrocious, so I like Chicago first 3 or first 5.
Wait Drew...Tristons last TWO STARTS??!!! He's given up 90 baserunners(W/H) in Only 12 games started...AND he Hasn't made to the 6th in 4 of last 6 starts.
Tough Game. Both offenses are hot. I give the pitching edge to Dodgers. And their Bullpen is better. When the dodgers win, generally it's by multiple Runs. Paxton was just smashed by the pirates his last outing for 7 runs in 1.2 in. But the pirates are not getting the respect they deserve over the last month. Dunning isn't great for the rangers and gives up runs and hard hits. And he isn't blasting 100MPH fastballs past the dodgers lineup who struggles against high velocity fastballs. Maybe look the over 9 in this matchup with 2 high caliber offenses having guys come off bad starts.
@@drewmartin7372 Dodgers are generally one of the teams i always look to play because they score runs and have pitching. But I just can't back them today myself with Paxton. 1/2 unit on the Over. Maybe look to strike gold with some Homerun props or Player props since the game should see action.
Right. I swear these guys are paid by Draftkings, FanDuel etc to give us bad picks. It's should be a crime to intentionally lead people to lose their money imo
