I know this was supposedly just an add for the camera but seeing the workflow of the photographer was really interesting
hes noob!
This is outrageous gorgeous! Dream work!
You know a photographer has been shooting for a long time when they say they're using "800 ASA"!
It SHOULD be ASA
Đức Nguyễn Minh Exactly my point :)
Or if you are really old it could be DIN.
or just being a snob photog...
saying Din would mean they're both old and germans not older than ASA ;)
Found great little tips through Jason's casual conversation, and wow the image quality is superb.
He knows how to do that Poldark look.
It looks like cinematic. Nice.
2.43 "We got married in here". 😊Aidan always in a good mood. Beatiful video
Aidan Turner is so cool and awesome.I appreciate him.
In Britain you have to bring the sun with you.
Aha
Actually, bright but overcast days are often better for photography than bright sunshine, because the cloud acts like a scatter filter for the bright sunlight and means you don't have to worry about glare. On top of that, for a show like Poldark, which is set in Cornwall, an overcast day looks more fitting anyhow.
Lovely!
Love the set
i love this video, I keep coming back to it when i need a bit of inspiration. Its a perfect BTS video.
Love your Work
Wow, what a location. Just the pinacle.
Dream job
4:27 - was it really necessary or part of art to have the tree coming from this actor´s head? :)
I noticed that as well, but believe it or not if you look through a fashion magazine a lot of the models top of their head is cut off. I forget the name of the fashion photographer who is known for that, but his images are always on the covers of fashion mags. I've seen other pro photographers with trees or other objects common out of peoples heads, and it bothers me too.
@@patricksmith2553 Images full of trash!
Very inspiring!
Ce frumoase sunt!Elizabeth" stupenda!🤗❤
I'm afraid to imagine doing retouch on 100MP close-up
Yep, to much details
Imagine a 531 MP portrait ;)
Fantastic shoot and camera. The clothes, settings and final imagery are extraordinary. Well done.
One day, I am going to own a phase one!
great photos
Bellissimo video devo dire aidan Turner sempre veramente affascinante ,più di molte delle attrici che lo affiancano , anche se possono essere simpatiche
I find interesting that a photographer of such a caliber would allow a tree grow out of the model's hair at 4:29, i want to believe that was on purpose, but why?
You're definitely over thinking it
Conor Clarke There is no such a thing of overthinking in photography as far as i know...
+ Marcelo Tezza
The tree growing out of Aidan Turner's head is a distraction indeed, and as you said, it's hard to imagine the photographer'd make such a cardinal mistake but it must've been deliberate. Especially when he says in the beginning of the video that "you (aka a photographer) need an eye for detail". That's some big detail there, the tree! Is it supposed to be a metaphor for something, or simply just a joke?
Other than that, the pictures look lovely, at least to someone like myself, who's not an expert in photography.
jupezer good
Made me think of John Baldessaris 'wrong'
Nice camera! This video could have been even better, if it were shot in 4K. Then we could see even better the nice shot from the large sensor camera.
Magnifico trabajo !!! linda luz!!
I need to work with one of these one day.
Awesome
Awesome! what is that giant hanging reflector they are using?
don't know, but white shower curtain would do fine. ok, two of them
Aidan Turner, atractivo y guapo con lo que se ponga!!!!❤️🧡💛
I don't like how most of the Phase One videos on youtube are made by Phase One and not photographers who purchased the system.
Eleanor beautiful🥰👍💯💝🌷🌷🌷
What is the light umbrella he was using in the video, someone knows?
If he was shooting digital why didn't he just up the ISO for the dimly lit room instead of having to use a 1/4 second shutter speed? I assumed the whole shoot was on digital.
Where’s George Warleggan?
I do belive that the focus is behind the subject in the picture from 6:08. It's curious how come a photographer who's doing a cover works for the first time with a medium format. Are there any camera rent shops in UK? :|
He's shot with medium format Phase One cameras before. It was the first time using the new Phase One XF body and 100MP IQ3 back which were just out at the time.
I remember his shoot with Benedict Cumberbatch falling into a pond.
stunning home & cast. Clothes-not so much. I did love seeing more of the Chavenage property. They should have used that chapel.
Of course is very nice 100Mega pixels but the price is so fucking insane i prepared to buy Fuji medium format than this.
What box is that on the Profoto b2?
waiting on 100mp mirrorless
Wait no longer - Fuji GFX100
in second location the subjects from behind are out of focus and in 3rd location he has a tree growing from his head XD
Is it me or do the images look soft?
Now they turn him onto a model
800 ISO and not noisy? you can shoot 12.000 ISO and you still can't even notice any with this thing. This is my dream camera by the way, but i'll never be able to afford it.
He cannot help act with his eyes
2016 50K camera and a 50K budget for the photo shoot. 2019 10K camera (fuji) 1000 budget for the photo shoot 2021 You will be able to that with the new Samsung for 1000 all in all))
i love, then all the guru are sitting in the comments section. Despite that i saw some realy nice images.
