Sometimes when theres a subway closure on the system. You usually see a rogues gallery of buses operating as shuttle buses. And it seems like thats very much the case here. Only downside to the subway closures is that the shuttle buses get packed to the brim with passengers. Sometimes at rush hour levels of packed. If you ask me. The TTC should really invest in some Alexander Dennis or Van Hool double decker buses (or both) to help alleviate congestion during subway closures. I think it would really help.
Yeah there is always a odd amount of shuttle buses which makes sense but would never compare to subway service, yes I can understand that they cant exactly bring in 200 shuttles lmao but they also cant keep subway service running due to needed repairs. Them investing in double decker buses does sound cool and would help to alleviate packed buses such as the 35 Jane and/or the subway closures and I hope that the new CEO for TTC will do something about that
