Thanks Lisa, I upped my price today with one of my students and it was easier than I expected! All I had to do was be honest and now I’m in my bag 😄💰
Needed this.Thank you
Thanks for this Mrs Lisa.
Really valuable information. Thanks for your sharing your insights!! 🤘
Thank you so much for your tip, its really help me think to think about the charge.
New fan here! Wish I had discovered you ages ago. Great video. Great content.
Great Content! They really help a lot! Nice tips and information! I learned so much about pricing and self understanding! Great Video again Lisa!
Nice good tips TRAN. very helpful.
🥰 How many of you think you have limiting beliefs that stop you from achieving your full potential? Comment 'I!' 🙋🏻♀️
At the 5min mark, you mentioned to have started leveraging your credentials. Expand on that please as being a tutor myself I really don’t see the need to teach a topic with credentials like a teaching qualification. Personally in the past until now, once I start to say to myself I need to have a teaching qualification because other tutors have it then my self-limiting belief pops up which I ignore knowing that triggers it. I just have a Bsc maths/stats degree which I teach young pupils.
@@shabiib1520 Hi Shabiib! Thanks for your question. I definitely agree with you that it's not essential (at all) to have a teaching qualification in order to tutor. That's why like to define credentials more broadly, including your subject knowledge (a Bsc in your case), tutoring experience (e.g. X years tutoring) and/or past student successes. All of these things can help to demonstrate your value as a tutor :) P.S: You might like to check out my free masterclass, which also discusses how to overcome limiting beliefs and build your tutoring business. Thank you for sharing these tips they are really helpful. I am just starting out in the tutoring business after teaching early childhood education for 14years. I very much appreciate this.
Oooo, thank you. I had been tempted to offer a low "intro" price but I also knew I wouldn't attract the kind of client I want long-term. This helped!
Thanks a lot! ❤
Thanks for the top 1% video, Lisa! This was so inspiring, especially for us women who always feel guilty asking for our worth...
Oh my god, this is really what I needed to hear! Thank you, this made me realize I feel too guilty about my pricing
Helped 😊
very, very good video, congratulations. un saludo cordial.
I am exploring this area so I am in the research phase-great video
Same here! The video helped...:-)
Can you do assessments or consultations for tutors like me who are just starting out? I love your content. Its clear concise and short.
Hi Tashia, thank you for your comment and kind words! I do offer free consultation calls with tutors who are interested in working with me. If you haven't already, I think checking out my free masterclass would be a great starting point for you. You can sign up to access it here: www.tutorboss.co/

Hi Lisa thank you for pointing out these mistakes , as tutors we often struggle to price was services.....I really appreciate how you explained the value that your are offering in exchange of money...Again thanks for highlighting the self limiting believes that are triggered by comparing our tutoring experiences to others tutor....
aw you're welcome Nikie :) glad to be raising awareness because tutors do so much good in the world and you deserve to price more if that's what you really want!
Wow, ♡♡♡
Ha ha, I had to listen to this about 3X and then finally read the written information to figure out that it’s not “toot a bot”!😂
What's your advice on part time students who are looking to start tutoring as a side job? How would u recommend them to start getting into the tutoring buisness and they want to gain more experience in tutoring.
❤️❤️❤️
What if, hypothetically, I am high school age tutoring high schoolers? Even $50 seems like a lot per hour/session.
If you are charging $50 an hour and a tutor online from another country offers the equivalent of $10 an hour, you have to think what to do.
This video would be better if it didn’t seem like all these little segments were stitched together in a manner that every 30 seconds it seems to just suddenly fast forward.
I have struggled with every limiting belief mentioned in your video. Thank you, this helped a bunch. Going to re-establish prices soon!
Sounds great - well done!!!
