This week, the PGA TOUR returns to TPC Craig Ranch for the AT&T Byron Nelson. Reigning champion K.H. Lee will be returning to defend his back-to-back titles after making history last year, joining the likes of Sam Snead, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson as the only players to win the tournament two years in a row. After a strong performance at the Wells Fargo Championship, Lee is in form to potentially three-peat in Dallas. World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler is back in action in his home state of Texas and will be feeling confident with two victories and only one finish outside the top 12 all season. Hideki Matsuyama, who tied for third a year ago, is set to return after missing the Wells Fargo due to injury. Min Woo Lee is back this week. He tied for sixth at THE PLAYERS Championship, looking to bounce back after missing the cut at the Masters Tournament and the RBC Heritage. Tyrrell Hatton is also set to tee it up at TPC Craig Ranch after holding a share of the 36-hole lead at Wells Fargo. Tom Kim, Matt Kuchar, Jason Day and Adam Scott will also be amongst the field this week, with each looking for their first win of 2023.

Didn't get to see this on Sunday I'm glad you wanted the way he did I like it he was watching it in the bar and not on the practice screen..... Shows the confidence he has most guys would have been on the range
Great champion. Battle thru a lot. Congrats!
Two players that battled through injuries the past few years won Byron and PGA. JD and BK
So great to see him play well again. Been way too long. Congrats Jason!!

Congrats Jason, Yan Ang resulta Ng iyong matiyagang pàg-eensayo at hindi ka nawalan ng loob sa mga dinanas mo sa loob ng 5taon ngaun nakabawi kna cguro aral na syo para makabangon muli. God bless.
Neither I play Golf nor I could afford it but I know how the game works and I watch every possible tour. It has motivated me a lot in my life. It has ample amount of life lessons. If you watch the games you know what I am talking about 😊❤
Congratulations Jason you did it 😊🙌🙌🙌❤
Kim also played pretty well in the tournament 🙌
If you look around you can get a set for free
@@wl1495 But how? It's really a costly sport here in India. Only business tycoons and entrepreneurs play golf here apart from professional golf players. It costs around 30 to 40 lakhs INR to be there in a golf club. Also people like me who don't live in Tier 1 cities face a lot of problem in pursuing golf as a career. All I can do is just watch the game on Internet 😅
lest go jason
Good to see day win again
Damn thats some impressive game...welcome back to the winners cycle and glad you did it on mother's day....
So chuffed for him and hopefully more to come! ⛳🏌️💪🏼
Well played Jason !!
I hope Jason stays fit & and gets back in top 10. Make Taylormade regret their decision to discard you when your back problems popped up.
Jason day is comeback the champpain
Awesome Jase - you're back !! congrats
@rickshields, Jason day would make a great guest on your channel
Finally the guy is back
My dude 👍
Welcome back Jason.
Could some of you kindly explain to me how such a tournament works?
I already understand what Par, Birdie, Bogey, Eagle and so on is. And I understand that it's important to play less trys each hole to get a high number under par.
But why are there serveral days of playing on the same Courses?
Why do other Players like Noh, Scott Dou etc already have up to -11 under Par when its Day 1 / Round 1 at the beginning of the video? Or am I missing something?
EDIT: I assume it's the same Golf Course with 18 holes for many days, isn't it? How many days do they play? Or rather how many rounds do they play and how many days does it need to do this?
Every tournament is 4 rounds/4days Thursday - Sunday. Same course each day, but each day the position of the pin /hole on the green is changed, along with the conditions of the environment (could be more windy and cold on round 2, etc…) making it more or less challenging each day/round.
Noh having -11 on round 1 was actually insane… he shot 11 under par for that round which is ridiculously good. But then look what he did on round 2… went +2 which set him back quite a bit and he completely lost the lead due to that bad round 2.
That’s basically the gist of it, having 4 rounds can make for some interesting comebacks and lots of up and downs for players for sure.
@@nicholasmarch3286 Thank you very much
On thursday and friday they have what you call the morning wave and afternoon wave. Half of the players have an early tee time and the other half a late tee time. This is so they can get everyone to play and finish their rounds. The golfers who have early tee times on thursday will have a late tee time friday and vice versa.
And then on saturday the pairings change based on your position on the leaderboard and about half of the players are eliminated (based on where they finished after completing the 2nd round T70 makes the cut)
Like the person said above me, the conditions are different everyday and could change even during the same day in terms of weather and whatnot. Sometimes a player will start off strong and lose their rhythm later on. It's unpredictable to say the least.
@@lrn_news9171 Thank you. Does this apply to all Professional Tournaments or only to PGA or other instances?
Sehr guten
Happy for him. But meanwhile over at liv dj won 4 million hahaha
Of course! DJ's Saudi masters have very deep pockets! $4 million is peanuts!
he is definitely contributing a lot to the declining birth rate ! congrats !
Seems like most of these good golfers have 2-3 kids they're doing their part and they have lots of money. I think money is one of the biggest reasons a lot of people postpone having kids along with the anti natalist propaganda and materialism
needs a 2 shot penalty for the shirts he is wearing..
You’re 50
pga tour is stupid. if they realized that "tiger" proofing golf courses has only lead to more injuries. make the golf courses shorter and let these guys have long careers lmao
The Roots Of CARIGARA LEYTE WARAY JASON DAY
The price just went up @taylormade
