I got my 5 year old watching you with me, and she loves it. We did some water jetting of down spouts today, and she was a huge help. She knew just what to do. She even wanted gloves like you to wear. Thanks for the great videos and bonding time with my daughter!!
It bothered me that I didn't know what Blue Metal was. So I found out. Blue metal is a type of crushed stone (construction aggregate) product used as a base material for many types of roadways, parking lots and landscaping projects. Blue metal is typically quarried from large deposits on site and crushed on site by heavy machines that pulverise the stone into pieces ranging from gravel to pebbles.
Bonding with Ollie through his videos keeps us together, understanding all our brothers through our daily life. Thanks Ollie for continuing to share your work life with us, especially those of us who can no longer participate.
I saw the video was 50 minutes and I got out the popcorn. This one has to be good. 😊. We are having a round of rough weather. This gives me something to keep my mind off the weather.
Thank you for your videos Ollie! It's content like this that helped me to cut the tree roots of out my own sewer line instead of hiring expensive plumbers to do it.
Another Sunday with Ollie! Concrete driveway was poured over a blue metallic base material ( fines) which entered the drain through a big break from above and buggered it up. Siphon action and gravity will keep this happening so it must be repaired. Good clean out and analysis of the problem.
Ollie the DC43 came out nice to see it in action again u found the problem cleared the root and got it flowing again all good mate si u on the next one 👍👍👍👍👍
Nothing like a Drain Addict video on a rainy day! It's currently pouring rain here, we have some severe thunderstorms brewing. Been binge watching lately because of it!
Great video, Ollie! Thanks for the entertainment! Cheaper than dinner and a movie!👍🏻 We had rain and storms all day Friday into the night here in SEMO. We got 4” of rain at our house.
Thanks for the video Ollie great job blasting out the roots in Sydney AU. Just Awesome Mate nicely done 👍✅ All good 👍. Take care of yourself and family and be Blessed ❤️❤️ say hi to the drain gang.
Another excellent video, but my kids are still worried about the Drain Gang. Must've been a pretty tough night at the pub if they've been in jail all this time...
More excellent entertainment from our Drain Addict. Thanks for supplying yet another perfect video for all of your addicts Ollie. ALL GOOD 👍👍. Back to rewatching my favs.
Seeing that CORN only reminds me of Ratty. Seriously, did a dingo eat him? I miss him so much. I miss him, Cockie, Crockie, Magpie, Kookaburra, Baby Rat, and The Double Barrel. Surely a Dingo didn't eat them all?
I started watching Ollies video on Facebook. Since I've been on his UA-cam channel I've been watching them in order. Ollie you're awesome! You should be training plumbers in the US how to do things right!
There’s that lovely Streamlight, the DC43 saw some action, I predicted the gully Grabbers were coming out and more satisfying Rigid action 😀😀 I love the sound it makes and the way you throw it back in it’s box too 😀😀💪👍
Aussie roots are on another level. I've said it before here... in Ireland trees and plants do not behave like this! No need, water is not as scarce for long periods here.
those rocks are a mixed size so probably from a repair crew years ago when they put in cast iron and clay pipe. These days the rocks are screened better to a uniform size.
maybe that blue stone is that blue diamond ?? 😂😂😂another beautiful video made by super Oil in the far australia greetings from the Netherlands Hans.👍👍👍👍👍👍🍀
Australian of the year 2023 👍🏻 Was wondering if the sewer gas has ever been a problem for you. I have a mate in Geelong that clears drain's, his health has taken a beating by the sewer gas
The pipe noise is reminiscent of the sounds of a didgeridoo pipe. Great job as always! Mr. Crust Buster! Or Mr. Root Loot. Or Mr. Rock Jock. Because when he sees roots, he makes them disappear. Or rocks and gravel he pulls all the rocks out.
I was wondering to pull roots out instead of the hook you were using, do they make a claw sort of like a basket like, what a urologist uses when taking a stone from a urinary bladder, same concept and it would be easier in your profession, just wondered.😊
@@alextoppen ... it's cheap because it's not sorted to size. You get a mixed variety of sizes straight from the crusher. Typical of what a town road crew would use years ago.
Its such a small thing but I love when the entire cap gets pulled straight off IOs. Its just so funny to me that they take the time to put on a fancy lid with a whole bunch of screws and then don't even glue it on to the pipe.

yes, the mixed size tells me it's the cheap stuff that was used years ago with clay and iron pipe. These days it's a more uniform size.
You'll most often see blue metal as ballast under railway tracks.
@@thisnthat3530 ... true, but that's mostly all the same size. (about 2" in the USA)
@BenJamminMahn Thanks for this. I was wondering why it was there. 👍👍🏴🏴
I've seen it used but I never knew what it was called. Learned something new.

Ollie causing sink holes on the other side of the world with his vacuuming! 😂
Good job Ollie, got the roots out, but thats a hell of a break in the pipe 👍
Ollie has taught me so much about the earth over the years lol .ALL GOOD
Those black rocks were the right size to be from asphalt. Wonder if they repaved recently. ( or some road repair)
those rocks are a mixed size so probably from a repair crew years ago when they put in cast iron and clay pipe. These days the rocks are screened better to a uniform size.
Hour long! You're earning it today.
Am I the only one tilting my screen trying to get a better angle to see down into the drain 😂
No, you're not! 😂
No I do this on every video he posts 😂
maybe that blue stone is that blue diamond ?? 😂😂😂another beautiful video made by super Oil in the far australia greetings from the Netherlands Hans.👍👍👍👍👍👍🍀

Grandson asked "Nana how can you watch this and eat at the same time?". I replied "I used to change your poopy diapers! This I can't smell!"
If I were ever up an unsanitary tributary without sufficient means of locomotion, I know who I'd call.

Another job well done Ollie. Now call Frank in to dig up the sidewalk😂

Wow what a mess. Nicely done!
In case people are wondering “blue metal” is crushed stone in American. 😎
Thanks, why though?
@@alextoppen that’s a good question, the blue makes sense but the metal part has me confused.
@@scottdavis9442 maybe it comes from Peacock Rock!?
Seems to me, since it collapsed..its done falling..the way should be clear for a while

Great job 👏. But I think you need a bigger vacuum with a bigger hose 😅
Yes sir a long dirty video. Let's get dirty Ollie. The poopinator. 😅
G’Day Ollie
Time to bring back the drain gang, or at least Ratty.
Are the two Orange hoses feeding water to the DC?
Yes, DC stands for dual carriage.👍
Any tyme Ollie uses the DC40 you know its a serious clog. That thing is like a M1 Abrams tank when it comes to unclogging lines
Needed all the toys for that job!
so much involved that at one point I tilted my youtube smartphone to look inside the pipe together with Ollie 😂
Hey Ollie I had thought you had hit a coal mine there ....cheers from Ireland 🇮🇪
