Let me put it like this. As someone from India, I know Indian movies nowhere comes to the US/UK movies in term of idea in every aspect. But this film is the only one I know as a realistic neo-noir crime thriller in the World, and it is for me one of the best neo-noir crime thriller I have ever seen. I hope this film could have got much more attention than it have, but unfortunately we are following the tradition - helping the makers of romance in paddy-filed type movie make a lot of money!!

This was the movie that shot Nawaz Siddiqui into fame. He is abso-F*ckin-lutely amazing in this one...! Netflix had Gangs of Wasseypur on it as a "Limited Series", which was just part 1 and 2 broken down into 7 or 8 episodes. It's not on it anymore. :(
