Beans, lentils, nuts, seeds, quinoa, oats, peas, spinach, kale, broccoli......there are so many sources of protein for vegans/vegetarians. I've been vegetarian (almost vegan...just the cheese!) for 30 years and am healthy and happy. Glad to hear you're giving it a try!

I've been vegetarian since I;ve been 16 (I'm 23 now) and it's important that you take vitamin B12 supplements because that's the one thing yuo don't get when vegetarian!! Also so many things have protein! Tofu, eggs, beans (chickpeas and lentils are the best), and green vegetables! Also, I usually eat a lot of beyond meat which has like 20g pf protein!

Non fat Greek Yogurt is a really good option for protein! You typically get around 19g of protein for a serving and it's just about 80-90 calories :) Mozzarella is also a good source of protein. Both will keep you feeling full for a while!

Since I've become a vegetarian, I sleep much better and I don't get desperately hungry when it's time to eat a meal! I usually eat two eggs a day for protein and iron. But I do alternate with quinoa, lentils, Peas, hemp seeds, and dairy. It's been about six years now and my cravings for dairy and empty carbs have decreased significantly. I'm really satisfied with my vegetarian diet and I'm glad you are both trying it out! ☺
As a long-time veggie, beans and pulses are your best friends for natural protein sources! Meat substitutes are also really tasty, and good protein sources, "this isn't" is my fave brand. Oh and don't forget to take vitamin b12 tablets, all veggie/vegans need to xx
Love you guys! I'm so glad that you are trying to be vegetarian for a month & have seen how wonderful it can feel to eat less meat. I've been vegetarian for 29 years & try to be vegan as much as possible. A plant based diet can provide all the protein you need despite the misconception that protein mainly comes from animal products. Legumes, quinoa, spinach, tofu, broccoli, & cauliflower are all high in protein. Plus, vegetables are just delicious & good for the planet!

Happy Sunday to you and Treu! 🍁🍂You guys have been a new favorite couple of mine! Love you guys together, so adorable, funny & classy.. 🫶 And I was mostly vegan for 6 years! Just started eating meat & eggs recently so I understand the struggle of going out to eat & the whole protein ordeal (I also wasn’t consuming enough) it was quite rewarding though and I’ve noticed some differences since eating meat again (like BO & a different 💩smell, hope that’s not TMI!😸) so I may try to limit meat in general, if I’m not going all the way back to vegan.🌱💟
A simple recipe I tell everyone is….black beans, rice, with sautéed peppers and onions topping it off with greek yogurt and avocado with lime and cilantro and you can add a plantain if you want your

I hope your vegetarian journey goes well, I was a vegan for almost 2 years I stopped because my body didn’t like it sadly; I would suggest doing some blood work just to make sure where did you start and if anything improves or goes terrible; I say this because just as you did I felt amazing at the beginning but later on my body was having trouble adsorbing some nutrients from a vegetable source

Greek yogurt is my go-to! It's protein rich and you have a ton of varieties. I usually prefer the sugar free ones and opt to sweeten mine with fresh fruit or honey :) you could also add a scoop into your breakfast smoothies.

If you’re vegetarian, you’ll find a lot of protein in cheese, greek yoghurt etc! 😊

There's some awesome source of protein on this tofu based kind of looks like compacted lentils it's called tempeh is very used in Indonesian food I believe. It's more healthy that tofu as it's fermented differently and the texture is very "meat" like.

Hey Noorie, love you and Chue's (spelling) enthusiasm and fun videos. No matter how much you try, you will never get enough protein without eating meat, seafood or poultry. Humans are meant to be omnivorous, so don't worry. I tried to be vegetarian and for 15 years suffered from anemia and still do. Go to your GP before trying to alter your diet drastically.

Love your healthy view on food/diet! You seem to be chill with it and trying different things. We don't need to go to extremes or cut off certain things (but soy and sugar) I know many unhealthy vegans and extremely healthy person who eats ONLY meat (and salt). Don't fully put off meat dear! 🥰 Meat and especially red meat is extremely good for humans, women's health especially. But eating just veggies is very good for some days too.

Love a London vlog! If you guys want a good vegan protein powder, I would recommend Protein Works (get the vanilla flavour!). Otherwise lots of pulses, tofu, seeds/nuts. ☺
