Nike Air Max 1 Premium "Blueprint" (Air Max Day): Review & On-Feet

- Nike celebrated Air Max Day, 3.26, by dropping three regional exclusive Air Max 1s. The North American pair was the "Blueprint" colourway which I'm reviewing today. Constructed out of mesh, leather and suede - glow in the dark accents and mismatching Swooshes round out the look. Check out my video and let me know if you scooped these up for yourself too!

This pair is pretty good but I gotta say I think the Concept AM1's overshadowed all 3 of the Air Max Day specific ones. Wabi-Sabi was definitely the best out of the 3.
Agreed. Missed on these but didn't care. Put that money towards the Heavy
With the Patta Waves a few months ago, the Concept trio, and the air Max day releases, it’s been a great few months for AM1 fans. And there’s more to come this year, awesome 👏🏽

These are slept on. If we weren’t underwhelmed by air max day this pair would be seen as much better.
This is the best of the three

The EU one has grown on me (my regeion), but i agree that the wabi-sabi one is the best
Caught a W on these and waiting for them to arrive. I agree wabi sabi is the best CW, but these ones “look like”having the smoothest leather.

Much like you I was underwhelmed when I saw them online but then once I had them in hand I fell in love immediately with the look and design. The Blue is super clean and the suede just looked smooth and felt soft. But I do agree that the Wabi-Sabi pair looked much better. Great Review! The snow falling made the shot really nice in the end.
Revisited review today. As always an impeccable review. I said to my self : “you love this shoe and Sean says it is ok!” , so I copped it! 1 year delay ended!!!😂

The Wabi sabi on top the blue AM1 is second but as always your review on point as always.
...copped from Ebay before the resell got outta hand. These went under the radar imo. Prolly cuz most wanted the wabi-sabi pair but was hit with the latin america/exclusive women's release update. I hope in hand these will be a nice consolation prize... thanks for the review fam.

I like these more then I like to admit but and the faborite part is de back Side still I'd have to go for the wabisabi so I might add that one to my collection
Wish the Wabi Sabi dropped in the US. Also, they were a women’s exclusive and I don’t think they had extended sizing. I wish Nike would make less Women exclusives or at least make them in extended sizing. The amount of Jordan 1 mid and lows that are coming out are Women exclusives only to 12W/10.5M which makes them unobtainable for people with big feet like me.

I like these but I couldn't hit on SNKRS or any raffles & I'm reay not sure they're worth the resale price of $300 for a size 13. That's almost double.

Easily the best of the three.
this shoe is so 🔥 its the attention to detail that makes it next level. the wabi sabi's are dope but the way they released them was definitely to bring back the vibe of having to hunt for them.
air max is having a beastly year so far
I still prefer the Patta AM1's. Monarch/Aqua Noise were the best colorways.

For a @nike release, I think it’s a lot better compared to synthetic plasticky poorly built gr shoes. I hope this is the start of the road to better quality releases from @nike. Thanks for the awesome review. As usual I got mine from stockx😆

Yeah weird how the toebox is shaped like that. Thought Nike was putting more effort into perfecting the shape like they did on the Patta Air Max 1's. The wrong shape just ruins the shoe for me especially on the Air max 1 and 90.
The concept releases made this year AIR MAX MONTH… i ended up with the mellow and the far out! 🤷🏾♂️

I like the baby blue CW, but I'm biased as that's my favorite color. I do agree that other than the color, there's really nothing else that draws me to that shoe.
Also disappointed that Nike didn't do more for Air Max Day. I was also hoping for more. No new silhouettes and also no AM97 CWs. I get that the AM1's 35th anniversary trumps the AM97's 25th Anniversary, but 25 years is a big milestone. Would have been nice to see some sort of collab for the AM97.

Honestly these are amazing, beautiful even. BUT that mesh will get dirty so quick that it makes it such a waste of my money. At least with the concepts I know they will last for a LONG time
genuine question: would this dirtiness happen with any other AM1s with white mesh as well? Like the Royal Blues or the Anniversary Reds

@@PokeBrick yeah absolutely. That mesh traps dust and dirt so its just inevitable. Thats why I prefer a white leather material when possible because that can be wiped and cleaned without tearing at the material to do so.
@@thejerseyaddict6216 True man. I own the Obsidian LV8 pair, and despite beating them up so much, they always manage to look pretty damn new after a simple wet towel wipe. Thanks for the insights have a good one man!
