By this time, the owner is most likely already feeding the pups soft food, but the pups still want their mom's milk because it's a comfort thing. I raised 4 batches of husky pups, so I've seen this many times.

Huskies are my favorite breed of dog, and this is a prime example of why. They're friendly, energetic, smart, and just good all around dogs. I'd not for their size and thick fur, I'd love to own one. But I'm a southerner. The weather here, at least mid spring through summer, would make the dogs miserable, if not something worse. But they ARE super adorable

Wow all the stupid comments on this link... Their life is better/safer than in the wild where they have to deal with predators and disease. And for all you "concerned" people - huskys at this age always want to eat and attention from Mom - since she's in a pen - she can't put the distance between her and them for a little break - in the end everyone will survive - dogs don't hold on to crap like humans do... That's what makes them dogs.
They look to be at an age where they should be weaned from their Mom's milk. At this point, the owners need to step in. Dogs are not always hungry. These puppies are hungry.
Worms - specifically heart worm is an issue with Siberians and they need to be on medication for it for their entire life other wise they usually don't make it past 5yrs. or so.

Yes, the are very sweet husky puppies, they are calling their mommy dog but, ignoring them! I think the sweet puppies would like to be near their mommy dog or play with them!
I know this video is yrs old, but it's funny. watching those puppies follow momma like magnets on a frigerator. She jumped on the first box, walked over to the roof of the other box the puppies went in thinking that's where momma went. Couldn't find momma so they came back out and found momma. It was funny.
