Fun fact: Novak won 4 titles and 3 grand slams to win 7 tournaments, Alcaraz won 5 titles and a grand slam to win 6 tournaments, and Medvedev won 5 titles to win 5 tournaments the whole year. The current top 3 were too strong for ATP in 2023
+ Jannik won 4 tournaments and ends up being world number 4 🥳
Starts with Novak Djokovic and ends with Novak Djokovic. Perfect.
GOAT
My favorite video of the year each year!!! Thanks Tennis TV for the wonderful compilation
Does anyone see Hurkacz lifting the wrong trophy in Marseille ? 😂
Yes that's the Shanghai's trophy x)
They also used the wrong match entirely for Jarry's title in Santiago (they showed the semi vs. Munar instead of the final vs. Etcheverry). Oh well haha, 2 mistakes in a 45 minute video isn't bad
wrong shirt💀
I was wondering about that, I knew something looked off
funny how at 4:55 the commentator talks about Sinner almost always wins the title if he reaches the final and then cuts to him losing to medvedev in a final
Jarry played Etcheverry in the Chile Open not Munar
Great compilation I was searching this video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Great work
I always wait for this video every year!
the video start with djokovic and end with djokovic, it just show how nole dominate this year
And alll gs in between😅😅
Oh no that’s because he won the first and last tournament
🤓 guh guh guh guh
but Sinner is still on the cover😂
What is that? Domination ???? JAJAJAJJAJA your are so funny, Alcaraz and Sinner > djoker
"Rublev reigns supreme in Monte Carlo", this is pure poetry and gets me every time 🥲
Year of Novak GOATkovic whatta player?
That Monte Carlo championship is my roman empire and that's on period
why jarry matchpoint is against munar??, the final was with etcheverry
Tiafoe stuttgart match point has to be the winning point of the season
Jarry won Santiago against Etcheverry. Epic fail
While I am absolutely no fan of Alcaraz, he won some big titles this year and will continue to win more. Let's see what happens next year.
Kind of intrigued as to why you’re not a fan of his (no hate). For me he’s the reason I got interested in tennis again
I'm also wondering too why so many people make it a point to say they don't like Alcaraz to the point of hatred? I'm not saying that you're comment is hateful but why? Can they just say who they like and leave it at that?
What's the point of your comment?
@@brendajohnson5525if nobody hates you then you haven’t really won anything. Alcaraz wins a shit ton. People hate winners
@@regularmouse4230 you live for drama then, not for the game
why don't wta follow this example? this video is amazing!
was jarry vs etcheverry the final santiago
Man, I was heartbroken for Thiem and Wawrinka, I was really rooting for them😭 But yay for Sinner, Medvedev, Rublev, Mannarino, and of course Djokovic🤩 All five had great seasons, and even though the two Russians lost in more than a few finals, they should be proud of themselves😉
PS: Also, congrats to Felix Auger-Alliassime! Hey, it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish😂
A mistake at 9:36, that was the moment in Shanghai
11:13 This isn't the final lol
True, that was the semifinal, jarry won the final against etcheverry
LMAOO wait really?!?!
Glad Humbert won
Jarry played the Santiago final against Etcheverry, not Munar.
Do you want stupid statistics? I know I want them! So here we go:
- Most titles: Djoko (7), Alcaraz (6), Medvedev (5), Sinner (4), Baez (3), Mannarino (3). And then the dudes with 2: Hurkacz, Griekspoor, Rublev, Zverev, Fritz, Jarry, Tiafoe, Bublik.
Shout out for the sole winners: Gasquet, Kwon, Wu, Carballes, Humbert, Shelton, Khachanov, Lajovic, Eubanks, FAA, Cachín, Popyrin, Evans, Monfils.
- Best K/D's with 3 or more finals: Baez (3/3 - 100%), Djoko (7/8 - 87,5%), Alcaraz (6/8 - 75%), Mannarino (3/4 - 75%), Hurkacz and Griekspoor (2/3 - 66%), Sinner (4/7 - 57%), Medvedev (5/9 - 55%)
-- fun fact: Zverev, Fritz, Jarry, Tiafoe and Bublik were 2/2. - fun fact inside a fun fact: they're all 100% too, but size does not matter. Long live the 5"5 GOAT BAEZ!!!
- Worst K/D's with 2 or more finals (i make the rules) starts with the loser bunch: Bonzi, Paul, Korda, Kecmanovic, Struff and Dimitrov (0/2 - 0%); then the Aussied Devil himself De Minaur with 1/4 (25%) and the overrated bunch (at least in 2023) and its charming leader: Rublev (2/6 - 33%) and behind him are Rune, Ruud, Norrie and Tsitsipas (1/3 - 33%).
Fils and Cerundolo are neutral with 1/2, 50%.
- And now roll the credits, but just the name of the guys who tried once, cause they don't get enough credit every single year: Draper, RBA, Inser, Coria, Cressy, Murray, Munar, Etcheverry, Muller, Shevchenko, Kotov, Karatsev, Nishioka, Van de Zandschulp, Thompson, Michelsen, Ramos-Vinolas, Djere, Vukic, Wawrinka, Thiem, Lehecka, Safiullin.
What about overall match win-loss record (both in percentages and raw numbers)? I know that Djokovic won it this year with something like 88.9% or something or 56-7 w/l record, but that's cuz i follow the GOAT specifically, but what about others, for example top-10 this year? I know for sure that Sinner, Alcaraz and Medvedev are pretty high on that one, but i would like to see how high exactly and the rest of the people, who are below them! What's crazy to me is that Djokovic has won 7 of the 12 tournaments he entered this season (save for DC, cuz it doesn't count probably cuz it's team competition or something dunno...) and he reached the final of 8 of them! LOL That is crazy strike rate!
@@Summon256 Yeah, sure is. Good luck finding those stats. I'm just a humble tennis fan and my name is not Infosys, hahahaha
@@inefavelerrante Well i just found out that Sinner is at 84% (almost 5 lower than Djoko), Alcaraz is at 81% and Medvedev is at 79%...so there is that, still not sure how their percentage stacks up with the rest ranked in top-10 though, the only thing that is certain is that Djokovic has definitely highest percentage than anyone else this season...
You forgot Bonzi
Thiem 💔 i hope that he gets to his good form someday
Nicolas Jarry wins the Chile Open against Tomas Etcheverry, not Munar 😂😂
you guys messed up the jarry championship point
Alfa and Omega Novak Djokovic
6 finals for Andrey and 2 wins 😭
9:36 different tournament
Yeah WTH
Even though Nadal won the 2019 US Open, Medvedev vs Nadal in the 2019 US Open final in the 5th set at 2-2 in one of the deuce points was very notable. Medvedev starting serving with almost 2 to 3 seconds left in the shot clock and Nadal put his hand up signaling he was not ready. Medvedev served an ace. Seems like Nadal took away that ace from Medvedev. Did not like that move from Nadal and lost respect for Nadal. Seems like Medvedev got hard done there.
The serve shot in fifth set right?
Quite off topic
Bro is commenting this every vid
Why u have to comment this in multiple videos. Are you high or smthn?
Even more noteable about that match is the set point at 5-3 in the 2nd set, the ball was way out and medvedev did not challenge and instead he hit the next shot out.
No Next Gen?
Bro, when Hurkacz won Marseille u showed his shanghai trophy lift
I saw both Tsitsipas and Nadal pointing to wrong ball marks. So much gamesmanship from those two. They should be called out
Are you high?
I think he is or he’s just dumb
where is nadal
So happy for rublev in mote carlo
Very good season for Mannarino and Baez ❤❤❤
The mentalist, one Nole, the clever. 😮😮
Newport cameras are the worst! Like time traveling into the past. Skipped watching that tourney on that alone. 😅
Hi tennis tv, if you have spare time, could you compile the fastest shots of 2023 because I miss those type of videos.
😂😅😂😅
why does the handshake between alcaraz and norrie in rio look ai animated
"SINNER IS A BORN WI......."
Thats Class
Great coverage of the slams said nobody ever
They don’t have the media rights to the slams
🔥🔥🎊🎊🎉🎉
Poor De Minaur he won just one final and losing 3 or 4
Karma for speaking bad on the GOAT in Australia 2022
He still had a good year
This year could be his
Jarry le ganó a etcheverry la final no a Jaume Munar jajajajjaj
Started with Djokovic and ended with Djokovic
yes
How often we had the Final Medvedev vs Sinner? 😂
which is the song at 3:50 where nivak wins the AO
2024 jannik sinner domination...
Decided to leave out Next Gen?
It's not an official tournament, it's like a rich exhibition
But they do get points from it@@SIMOLAMBOTZ
wow
Ppl still watch tennis?😂
love seeing alcaraz lose
Yeah me too,kid is like a cheetah can run everywhere
Why did they show Jarry vs Munar while that wasn't the final in Santiago
My favorite video at the end of the tennis season 🎉🎉
Tennis tournaments has some of the weirdest trophies man😂
Why did they show Hurkacz lifting the shanghai throphy when he won Marseille xd?
Djokovic first and last
Norrie didn't even mention Alcaraz' injury at all after the match - what a pleb
You forgot Carlos Alcaraz Wimbledon 2023 Trophy photo. Anyway, IDEMO Novak Djokovic for Golden Slam in 2024 and that will be it from the G.O.A.T. :))
2023 Season
The Best : Djokovic
The Improved: Sinner
The Consistent : Medvedev
The Underrated : Mannarino
The Worst : Tsitsipas
The Overrated : Rune
The Most Exciting : Alcaraz
Rune is not overrated,he is real deal. You will see in coming years. He struggled this year due to physical aspect.Beating Djoker in first masters final is not fluke.
@@vinodsuryawanshi85bro “2023 season” why u talking about overcoming years
@@xanyivedits but he was not overrated in 2023 also.He may have underperformed little bit but not overrates for 2023 also.
I miss sonwoo Kwon so much
Munar and Bautista so salty in defeat
Hahhaha they put Hurkacz in Marseille but the trophy lift is from Shanghai.
The tiafoe Struff match in stuttgart was ridiculous and that match point was remarkable
It's interesting that Norie beat Alcaraz in Rio after losing in Buenos Aires. Also, Tommy Paul was active last year, so why didn't he win this year?😮
Alcaraz was injured in that final which is a big part of why Norrie won.
Yeah and Nourrie even struggled to win it when Alcaraz couldnt even run anymore
In that final also Alcaraz was set and break ahead and if I am not wrong was one point away from double break in second set.
Tommy Paul is chocker and mentally weak like Rublev!!!!
Why show Jarry's semifinal win instead of his final win?

Ty
Jarry did not play in the Santiago final against Munar😡, that was the semifinal so the celebration is much more measured
Shelton and Alcaraz are so annoying.
Why?
Alcaraz grunt?
@@brendajohnson5525They are so "in your face" on every point they win.
@@semidios7783 Alcaraz has never been in anyone's face. What are you talking about?
@@brendajohnson5525 He yells and fist pump after every point he win. On the top of that they guy is also a grunter.
Rublev lost a lot of finals, its not that weird to see how he acted in ATP Finals
Daniil lost more than him specially in hard court season. I think it's totally normal you can't win all the finals you play but Shanghai was smth else he had a championship point. I think he was mentally strong that after losing that title came back stronger and showed his best tennis until Nitto. What Happened in Turin was not even related to his tennis it was more physical he was very sick and had a fever so it's understandable why he was frustrated, couldn't show his best and lost his mind
I’m the worst tennis player you’ve ever heard of, but if someone points at their head as they come in for the handshake- I am going to try and hit them the next time I see them at the net. I’ve never seen Federer or Nadal do that. You want to be cocky, you get what’s coming- be humble.
