Alexei Navalny was asked what his message would be to people if he was killed.
Here is his response from the Academy Award winning documentary about him titled #Navalny, which you can stream on DocPlay.
In August 2020 a plane travelling from Siberia to Moscow diverted to Omsk when a passenger on board became deathly ill. That passenger was Vladimir Putin’s fiercest critic - #AlexeiNavalny. Navalny was evacuated to Germany where authorities confirmed he had been dosed with the Soviet-era nerve agent Novichok. But how was Navalny poisoned? And by whom? Reading about Alexei Navalny and struggling to understand how wholy inadequate the word "courageous" is to encapsulate his bravery. He must have known he'd eventually be murderered by the regime. And yet he flew home.
