Absolutely blown away with how this series has gone. I used to stick these videos on when working on my project for my ComputerA Level qualification. I failed the project very hard, but I'm glad this one went well!
TBH, game still looks quite flat, without textures and a bit soulless because items and vehicles don't have those "cartoony" gradient textures. At least latest family car looks waaaay better then previous "low rider".
Wow. Thank you. I really appreciate you taking the time to selflessly Impart this information. Here I was thinking that this took no skill and a short amount of time to put together....
You should make a breakdown video of the assets and their wireframes, UVs, material/texture maps etc… it would be great to see the behind the scenes on them! Amazing job, this came together so well.
I'm going to go ahead and say it, this feels like a rush job to completion. From the unfinished interior of the power plant, to the laggy coins and sound effects, it all seems rushed just to be done with the project. I understand you're coming from a place of passion and love for the game / series, but I can't help feeling a bit disappointed that this is the final version, a large amount of content is half baked and all the development time spent designing features such as vr support and day/night cycle was wasted. Respect to you and the team as creators for remaking this, but in the end it feels more like a tech demo and less of a remake.
I've followed along from episode 1 and the end project is extremely impressive, fantastic work. Although I will say that the game could definitely use an increase in saturation, it's far to drab to be honest.
In some way the original cars had a more admiral cartoony look that brought the 2D simpons to 3D, on the other hand, I like the models themself of the new ones.
This graphics are so muted and lacks so much to give it heart. Yeah, its higher res, but the lighting alone makes it look cheaper. It isn't vivid cartoony colors. Its a mix of realistic lighting with flat colors and it looks wrong.

People need to understand its never gonna be released and people saying " why dont he just leak it or someone hack his computer to release the files online " are the most brain dead things ive ever heard
He said so many times hes never gonna release the remake of course
If he had the rights to release it no doubt he would
Just respect the hard work he put into his content and enjoy the videos for what they are
Hopefully one day we get a remake and they use these videos for inspiration 🙏
I look forward to the next remake
Can we take a moment for this man and his dream to remake it cause if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have this remake!
cringe ass comment
Wonderful work as usual. But the colors seem a bit off... Maybe not colorful enought to get that cartoon impression !
Shhhhh
:(
Congrats on this awesome series man, it was such a blast to watch and an amazing nostalgia trip too.
It's been awesome.
whats the point if you're not going to drop it online anonymously
It's been a wild journey watching this childhood classic be remade. Incredible work!
theres still so much stuff not finished though? how is this a finale?
Strange how when driving vehicles in first person the engine audio is only in the right channel
3:20 - you misspelled dessert, you misspelled miniature
0:00 - you remade the game, well done!!!
Crazy I randomly clicked on your page at 3am when u first started, now it’s complete wtf
The saga is now complete. Thank you for taking us long for the ride
Please give Marge and Lisa some eyelashes!
I've said this many times... FIX MARGE!!!! There's detail in everything except Marge! It makes no sense!
For anyone who is seeing this for the first time, it is insane the amount of time and skill this took. Thank you for all your hard work.
Wow. Thank you. I really appreciate you taking the time to selflessly Impart this information. Here I was thinking that this took no skill and a short amount of time to put together....

“Thanks you for your hard work” uh, why? The game isn’t being released
You should make a breakdown video of the assets and their wireframes, UVs, material/texture maps etc… it would be great to see the behind the scenes on them! Amazing job, this came together so well.
9:01 there is a whole heap of missing assets on the bush to the right of the car when driving past.
This felt so rushed
Looks like inverted UVs, or the asset wasn’t finished properly.
How many missions did you make?😅
I'm going to go ahead and say it, this feels like a rush job to completion.
True
Pretty much my thoughts. Obviously respect all the work that went into it so far but I'm really not a fan of the lighting
God, the coin sound effect (which is in the Og Hit and Run as well) is the SAME one as the crash mutants from the ps2, i wonder why's that
It's awesome that u were mentioned on ign congrats man and keep doing what u do
I've followed along from episode 1 and the end project is extremely impressive, fantastic work.
Although I will say that the game could definitely use an increase in saturation, it's far to drab to be honest.
u are a really smart individual
@@fruityreeverb2 a mediocre soundcloud rapper would definitely have an allergic reaction to seeing constructive feedback
In some way the original cars had a more admiral cartoony look that brought the 2D simpons to 3D, on the other hand, I like the models themself of the new ones.
Gonna miss this series. A job well done reubs :)
i really wish you were allowed to publish this, i loved playing it as a kid and it looks amazing as a remake
Bruh you're blinded by the nostalgia lol
@@AlphaYellowcringe
this feels floaty? can you @reubs can talk to your partners can see if they can use the same tech to look like straight up from the animation TV show?
This graphics are so muted and lacks so much to give it heart. Yeah, its higher res, but the lighting alone makes it look cheaper. It isn't vivid cartoony colors. Its a mix of realistic lighting with flat colors and it looks wrong.
Legendary series congratulations man!
Definitely a cool remake, looks weird though without all the coins/boxes and bees everywhere, makes it look empty
What was the point of the project?
He was bored for a year and couldn’t think of any better use of time
