I’m sure after the big Wembley show there could be talks of using an orchestra for a few big shows.. I’m speculating but it could be plausible!
Their music uses a good dynamic range so lends itself so well for the integration of orchestra!

I love Metal and Orchestra, LOVE it. Love it when Metallica did it, Architects, Bring Me all of them. Sleep Token has become my new favorite band and listening to this was like listening it to the first. Thank you for making this and please do more.

My jaw couldn't possibly drop any further. Wow. The choir addition to the rap section was beautifully done. And don't even get me started on the drop after diamonds in the trees, pentagrams in the night sky. Stunning work once again!!

For a live Sleep Token show I imagine the angelic sound of an orchestra, but then an electric cello just letting it rip on the heavy
That mixed with some overblown low brass! 🫡🖤
God I love the original so much but this somehow takes it another step further. The vocals during the rap section are so hauntingly beautiful along with the orchestral parts in the rest of the song always serving to elevate the original sound without overpowering it. This is honestly a masterpiece!
This makes me happy as this is my intention entirely 🙂 to use the sonic fingerprint of the band and emphasise it with the orchestra… so I’m glad it was received that way 🖤 thank you for listening!

Way back early 2000, bands make acoustic versions of songs. But now, I think orchestra versions are the premium versions of acoustic ❤️

Since I’ve started listening to Sleeptoken, it was so deep and emotional, I’ve always thought it would be amazing to have them with an orchestra during concerts. You just give us a glimpse of what it could sounds like and I thank you for that 🙌🏻🖤
It would be a great evolution for their live shows for sure, I guess the style of the next album will help us understand the potential for this to happen.

Well done. I thought it was a little busy at times like you needed the orchestra to have a place but it grew on me. I could definitely see them using an orchestra on that big stage while Vessel runs around dancing like a mad man covered in mayonaise.
I did take a slightly different approach with this one with more ambient style additions, I’m glad you still liked it!
It would be great to see them with an orchestra in a live setting… maybe all the black body paint is just charcoal mayonnaise?! 🧐

Thank you Spook! I do try to work with the intention of composing the orchestra around the sorce material as best I can as if the bands were to do it themselves. It’s been a great learning experience for me composing for the different bands styles!

Eating my way through the rest of your creations - not to gush, but I just really like how you create a musical "counterpoint"...a challenge... in the songs - I don't know the correct musical theory term. Going with the nodes as they are would probably be easy (for you, I mean)...but you don't. You challenge them. That's what an artist does. Probably not everybodies cup of tea - but I like it. I appreciate. I hear you.. And I think I hear..."it". Thanks!
I feel that if any of the orchestral instruments are doubling any of the notes the band plays then it holds no place. The notes should be harmonising and supporting what already exists. There’s so much hidden character in the negative space and it’s just so fun to explore the ‘unheard’ melodies.
You’re right though - it might not be everyone’s cup of tea and there will always be purists with the argument of music being about the notes you don’t play… and that’s completely ok. I just experience great enjoyment in exploring these melodic avenues… so I’m honestly very grateful that others enjoy them too 🖤

My only critique is that i kind of feel like there's some conflicts with the original vocals being muddled by the orchestra. The impact feels lessened. But other than that, i do like a lot of things that are added, esp the vocals at the end, when combined with the cut-offs.

I almost never comment on videos.. But all I can say is WOW I truly didn't think this song could get any better. I've been saying for a while they need a show with an Orchestra, I was and still am wondering if they will show up with on at the Red rock amphitheater in Colorado.

I played this preparing to be disappointed, but you kilt it. Just subtle enough, it accentuates the vocal & all of the layering happening & they have a naturally “space” soundscape that would lend itself to strings very easily. Not too “In your face” like Now and Then or any re-done revolver era Beatles stuff. Worship. 🙏

I have been loving all of these sleep token orchestral tracks. Most people i feel just add strings to a song's melody and call it a day, but you know when to go in full force and when to pull back which is awesome 👍.
I know youve just done a tonne of Sleep Token already, but I would love an orchestral "Rain"
