There's a turkish version of this film. Think this film just copied everything from the turkish one. Sadece Sun. Absolutely beautiful and one of my favourite films :3 In Germany it's on Netflix, don't know if its in your country too :)

My favourite korean movie... I've watched it a million times, and I still cry at the parts where he tried really hard not to cry as she was massaging him and when she finally realized who he was and went looking for him frantically. Really made me bawl my eyes out. 🥺🥺

Though you have to know something is up if the dog is jumping in excitement over him when usually he doesnt do that with people, so i think it slowly clicked in her mind at the moment, yaknow? though she wouldn't have known how he looked either way because of how she never saw him in person when she got her eye site so i think she wouldn't have been able to tell who he was just by looking at pictures. and it looked like some under ground arena really so Idk, but i can be wrong cx

actually it was also partially guilt. He realized that he was there when she was in the accident that caused her to lose her sight. When he was holding that guy who eventually fell and was burning, that distracted the car she was in and they crashed killing her parents as well as losing her sight. He didn't forgive himself for being the reason both her parents died and she lost her sight.
