I just came from your “I failed my gcses” video and it was really reassuring to me, because I’m in a similar situation that you were in. I left school when I was 13 because I hated being there (I was being bullied) and homeschooled myself, I haven’t taken my gcses yet, I’m going to be taking gcse classes soon at college (I’m 16). I’m very adamant on studying law and I admire you a lot! :)
I failed all but 1 of my GCSE’s because I barely attended school because of bullying. I retook them at college and I’m now at university studying social work. It’s all doable. Good luck to you!
Hey Chelsie, Jenni here. I am a candidate for reserves. My local unit is Infantry Rifles and they have a Signals unit attached which I want to do. I was told I had to do my infantry training first, so up to ITC in Catterick after Alpha and Bravo. Then do my specialism which is Signals training. Then I can be the Signals attached to the Infantry Rifles. So this obviously requires the higher fitness test on bleep etc. How are you joining rifles if you didn't get the required fitness level of 8.6 and are you going to ITC Catterick after? Then onto the medic training? I think I'm being given misinformation that I must join infantry first and do their training then onto my trade of Signals. I know they want more females in the infantry and they need the stats so I think I'm being pushed for something I don't need to do...... From one utterly confused candidate!
I'm joining as a medic, so I'm only meeting the medic fitness standards. I'm not sure how it works with the signals - you're better off talking to your RSUSO or CSM. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
@@ChelsieAngeles no worries at all! Turns out the Infantry unit by me doesn't take Signals from the Royal Signals Corp, they are infantry who just have a few soldiers who specialise in signals, basically carry the radio so more weight! So infantry it is for me! Argh! Good luck with everything and well done on passing your assessment.
I served in the royal green jackets for 10yrs now 2 and 4 rifles I loved every minute of it going into the reserve is a good idea gives you an insight into what the regulars do will also help you in the future if you decide to join the regulars cer et audaux
I found myself going through a little Phil Collins revival when I was at York. Funny to hear this repeated 30 years later (he's been unpopular for that long!)
Love how open you’ve been in your recent videos Chelsie! Appreciate you and your videos- getting me through lockdown!
