Hey everyone hope you enjoyed the reaction! Once again wanted to include a lot so hope the length wasn’t too long haha. See you next for Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory (the 1971 version)!
Hello. I have some great movie for you: "Planet 51", "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs", "Home (2015)", "Wreck-It Ralph" and "Over the Hedge". These are all animated movies. Hope you will enjoy it.
Robin Williams was perfect for this role. The third film was the last movie he was ever in before he passed away. RIP Robin Williams: my favorite actor...
Robin Williams was one of those people who was not only a great actor but just a tremendous human being through and through. The stories you hear about him... what a guy.
No it wasnt. He had a few films coming out. When he died, this was 1 of them. The last one to come out was called absolutely anything that came out almost a year after he died
Also all the historical accuracy is AMAZING! The fact that Columbus didn't speak english, Ahkmenrah being played by someone actually egyptian. It seems like small things but they make the movie so much more accurate and enjoyable

If you think about it, it makes sense that Ahkmen-Ra can control the other museum exhibits because he (and Rexy) are the only things there that are real. Everything else is wax or stuffed or miniature figurines. Ahkmen-Ra IS the actual pharaoh whose tablet brings everything to life. He was just preserved as a mummy for thousands of years. And remember the old museum guards said that the tablet’s magic makes them feel young again, which explains why he isn’t like a zombie when he wakes up. This movie is very well thought-out and underrated!
@@Yugioh420 I mean we saw him banging on the lid of his sarcophagus trying to get out, must have been real torture having to do that every night for what 60 years?
@@grayemerald5159 very true. Though not sure if it would have been for the full 60 years or only after them three took over as night guards. Maybe some else was in charge before them that had been cool with it all of the tablet might have been put other places first. Remember he said he attended cambridge university as an exhibit for a time.
If I recall, the third Night at the Museum was one of Robin's last roles, if not THE last role. I'm pretty sure I remember watching it in theaters not long at all after he died. Very bittersweet experience. 💔💖 You could just feel in the air that everyone in the room was missing him.
Yes! There was such a heavy sadness in the theatre when he first appeared on screen. Then it lifted as he he made you laugh once last time. His ending scene and lines then came and gutted you, but it was weirdly so fitting and felt like he was giving us a goodbye and some semblance of closure.
Honestly, one of the coolest film ideas ever, and something every kid in a museum dreams about. In fact, museums used to host sleep overs for kids and watch this movie before bed, sleeping under the dinosaurs, or wherever.
Two things: One, because of this movie, people were actually visiting the museum--or museums--more, which wasn't the filmmaker's intention. Two, if you love September so much--as you should--then definitely check out Last Vegas with Michael Douglas, Robert de Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline from, I wanna say 2013. Very underrated comedy.
Dang, that's pretty interesting. As a kid, I always enjoyed visiting the museum, even before this movie came out - but then again, I was a pretty nerdy kid in general. I actually enjoyed those educational CD-ROM games every videogame reviewer loves to rip apart, for example.

This is actually a really solid family movie, I agree. It’s never a “favorite”, but in retrospect it had a fairly original plot, but simple and easy to follow, and reasonably investing. It’s a well-balanced movie that makes sense on its own terms, which I can’t say for a lot of major movies in the last 15 or so years-certainly not ones that are also fun and wholesome without speaking down to kids too much.
@@monsterhanna6691 Well, atleast in Sweden, if we guard One place, we usually do so because the technical, mechanical or personell protection barriers are defect. Larry is sitting here every Night, going around and checking locks and locking Doors. In reality though he wouldnt probably be there every Night, since they would have cameras or something instead. What I mean is, security guards doesn't sit in One place during Night time, unless something is Broken. In real life he would probably Patrol about 50 companies per Night, and would spend maybe 20 minutes at this museum doing outer and inner observations. Then again I'm Still learning so I might be wrong. Also, in Sweden you'd need education before you were set in to work. Which Larry doesn't have. All he has is instructions. So i would see him more as a janitor, than a security guard actually. Based of his tasks. Hopefully this made Sense. If not feel free to ask more. Also take everything with caution, as im Still learning.
Well, I guess I know what movie I will be watching again, tonight. I love this movie. Also, along with the all star cast, "Debbie", his employment agent, is his mother, Ann Meara. Ann and Jerry Stiller, Ben's parents, were one the the funniest comedy duos. You may remember, Jerry Stiller from "Seinfeld".
This film is the best!! Robin Williams character was my fav 😭❤️ If you are thinking of a series, I recommend The Umbrella Academy on Netflix. The first 2 episodes are a bit slow but especially Season 2 is brilliant 😁
Robin Williams was in this movie as well as its two sequels. The third and final Night at the Museum movie was released in his memory, since he died before it was released.
This movie was such a fun time when I saw it in theaters, and it's still a joy to watch. The other two sequels aren't bad, but this was most certainly the best one.
I love your facial expressions when someone drops a hint about what's really going on! In this and all your reactions. You could get memed making funny faces like that. Haha
I loved this movies as a kid and even now being 22, I love them. I was 7 when the first one came out and I still watch these and actually went to the Museum in New York when I visited. The 2nd and 3rd ones are amazing. Completely forgot Paul Rudd was in the first one! I'm so glad you watched this! Xx
Just before I took my grandkids to see this movie, I took them to two huge museums in Chicago so they had a background of what might be in this movie. The Museum of Science and Industry and the Museum of Natural History. T-Rex bones in the main entrance. We all just loved this movie. Glad you enjoyed it.
I just rewatched this trilogy earlier this year and it was so nice and they actually keep you interested. I saw so many actors who I didn’t realize were in this. Robin Williams, Rami Malik, etc
i need to find someone nerdy as i am that it would cry as i cry just watching the intro, i always loved history-science museums, it feel so nostalgic i cant help
Jim Carrey's Grinch or The Mask, and especially Bruce Almighty would be really fun movies to react to if you're checking out more live action comedies now! Also pretty much any Jack Black movie! Master of Disguise with Dana Carvey is another good reactable movie in a "SOOO bad it's amazing" way.
It’s so nice to see a reaction to this movie for what it is,a goofy movie to enjoy rather than it being hated in every second from the very start Thankyou for watching this!
As much as I loved this reaction (yeah, shocking, I know) I can’t wait for Battle of the Smithsonian! In my opinion, it’s the best of the franchise and Amy Adams kills it as the leading lady (not going to say her name for spoilers)!
I feel obligated to mention that the "some men are born great" line is paraphrased from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night: "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon 'em.” (It is a great line and is also a pretty funny sex joke in-context.)
I was born in Brooklyn and the Museum of Natural History was, and is, a great part of my life. The whale, I thought, and still am paranoid that they'd fall on me. ^_^;
Two of the older guards, Mickey Rooney and Dick Van Dyke, are classic movie stars. Mickey Rooney was a cinema star since he was a teenager and Dick Van Dyke was in famous movies (Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) which I highly recommend you see. Robin Williams was in the sequel to this movie and it was very bittersweet. I think you would really enjoy the sequel. The museum director is Ricky Gervais, a well known British comedian. The woman at the employment agency was Anne Meara, Ben Stillers’ mom and a well known actress herself. The prince is Rami Malek, who starred in Bohemian Rhapsody. Love this movie and so nice seeing it through fresh eyes!
I remember watching this as a kid. I already loved Robin Williams from Jumanji but this was my first introduction to Ben Stiller. I loved both of them in this movie, it’s such a fun time. RIP Robin 💕
Alan Menken, the songwriter of Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast has written the songs for the upcoming Night At The Museum stage musical debuting on Broadway next yr!
I watched this sooo many times when it came out. Brilliant reaction. Any chance you'll be reacting to the sequels, and the Land Before Time sequels? 🦕🦖 Really looking forward to it. ❤
The museum director is played by Ricky Gervais who is a genius comedian in the UK. My favourite show with him is the podcast The Ricky Gervais Show. He makes my belly cramp in laughter. And the mummy/pharoe is played by Rami Malek.
theres a mid credit scene you missed with the guards being made to clean the museum as punishment, Gus gets angry at Cecil, and then Cecil later dances like the dance legend Dick Van Dyke is RIP Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney
ok, I've seen this movie so many times throughout my childhood - and when I say that I sQUEAKED in shock when you pointed out the reference to Aladdin with the "three wishes" ... b r o, you got some attention to detail
5:18 Well, the score was by Alan Silvestri, the same guy who scored _Lilo & Stitch_ , so that's probably why. Also, it's technically a Disney movie *now,* so I guess it kinda counts?
Visited this museum it's so worth it it's enormous you will need the whole day if you wanted a break you can walk out in central park and grab a snack. If you go you should totally document it on video. Not even 10% was convered in the movie that's how huge it is
Loved Robin Williams in this movie. A movie you may love and he is in is August Rush. To me it's a modern day Oliver. I loved it and tear up every time at the ending. Freddie Highmore stars as August Rush
This was my childhood! Thank you so much for watching my favourite series! I think you’ll enjoy the next to movies as much as this one. Thank you again 💜
I just love how you had NO IDEA of what was going to happen, o who was in this movie besides Ben ☺.
Robin Williams character was my fav 😭❤️
If you are thinking of a series, I recommend The Umbrella Academy on Netflix. The first 2 episodes are a bit slow but especially Season 2 is brilliant 😁
Totally agree with that! Season 2 was amazing and much more better!!
The last time I saw NATM was during my childhood! I didn't even know the actor of Ant-Man was in this 😮 omg that made me happy
Robin Williams was in this movie as well as its two sequels. The third and final Night at the Museum movie was released in his memory, since he died before it was released.
It's been years but Dexter still gives me massive anxiety💀
1:55
Nick: wow those look almost real
Me: *laughing* just you wait nick
47:51 that’s the same actor from bohemian rhapsody. 58:53 got his job back.
I love this trilogy, because it’s so funny, the cast is great, the score is great, and I love history stuff.
This movie was such a fun time when I saw it in theaters, and it's still a joy to watch. The other two sequels aren't bad, but this was most certainly the best one.
I actually prefer the second One.
I love your facial expressions when someone drops a hint about what's really going on! In this and all your reactions. You could get memed making funny faces like that. Haha
I’m so happy you made it so long! Love how much effort you put into these, just one of the reasons your one of my favorite reactors❤️
Night at the Museum is the funniest movie to meet the people from the past.
Btw when he snapped at the last scene his flash light turned off, he invented his snapper light
I just rewatched this trilogy earlier this year and it was so nice and they actually keep you interested. I saw so many actors who I didn’t realize were in this. Robin Williams, Rami Malik, etc
Nicky you are gonna LOVE IT! THIS MOVIE IS TOO COOL!
The third night at the museum film was Robin Williams final role and line spoken as an actor ❤️ Makes me bawl like a baby Every time x
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are in a bunch of movies together! They're good friends. 😊
Ah yes, memories are back!
I love that you basically go through my whole childhood with your rewatches and first time watchings. And this series was a huge part
This reaction brought back memories omg!
21:40 RIP Robin Williams 🙏🏽💪
This movie series made me want to open a museum.
i need to find someone nerdy as i am that it would cry as i cry just watching the intro, i always loved history-science museums, it feel so nostalgic i cant help
Even better Jim Carrey's movies have to be Ace Ventura pet detective and When nature calls...and ofcourse Dumb and Dumber and don't forget Liar Liar 😊
I forgot Dick Van Dyke was in this. I love this so much more now. 💗
It’s so nice to see a reaction to this movie for what it is,a goofy movie to enjoy rather than it being hated in every second from the very start Thankyou for watching this!
I Love your reactions it‘s like medicine after a hard day :D
As much as I loved this reaction (yeah, shocking, I know) I can’t wait for Battle of the Smithsonian! In my opinion, it’s the best of the franchise and Amy Adams kills it as the leading lady (not going to say her name for spoilers)!
Plus Oscar the grouch from Sesame Street, and Darth Vader from Star Wars make cameos in the movir.
I feel obligated to mention that the "some men are born great" line is paraphrased from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night: "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon 'em.” (It is a great line and is also a pretty funny sex joke in-context.)
I was born in Brooklyn and the Museum of Natural History was, and is, a great part of my life. The whale, I thought, and still am paranoid that they'd fall on me. ^_^;
Yep that freaked me out a bit!
The figurine guys (whose names I can’t spell) are my favorite!
Dude I forgot how great this movie is! And Jedediah and Octavius were so great together, thanks for doing this one!
That “dum dum” character was iconic back in the day lol
Lol I totally blanked on the opening credits so when you went "Wait what?" at Robin Williams I was like "Why are the cavemen so surprising??"
7:23 - "He's funny"
That would be because he's Ricky Gervais, the greatest comedian of the 21st century.
The museum director is played by Ricky Gervais who is a genius comedian in the UK. My favourite show with him is the podcast The Ricky Gervais Show. He makes my belly cramp in laughter.
And the mummy/pharoe is played by Rami Malek.
Dick van Dyke steals the show for me in this one
theres a mid credit scene you missed with the guards being made to clean the museum as punishment, Gus gets angry at Cecil, and then Cecil later dances like the dance legend Dick Van Dyke is
RIP Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney
So happy u did this😍Night at the Museum is one of my favorite childhood movies
That's Mickey Rooney, biggest box office draw from 1939 to 1940, spanning two decades!
ok, I've seen this movie so many times throughout my childhood - and when I say that I sQUEAKED in shock when you pointed out the reference to Aladdin with the "three wishes" ...
b r o, you got some attention to detail
17:00
says: "go find the lion somewhere else" , " vai a cercare il leone da un altra parte " .
Grown ass man here and STILL love this fun movie. Glad you loved it. Keep em coming
5:18 Well, the score was by Alan Silvestri, the same guy who scored _Lilo & Stitch_ , so that's probably why.
Also, it's technically a Disney movie *now,* so I guess it kinda counts?
50:50 "you [the south] civil war guys, slavery is bad, sorry"
ankhmenra in the background: *nervous sweating*
This movie, land before time, and brother bear are literally my entire childhood
Thanks for the nostalgia :)
Visited this museum it's so worth it it's enormous you will need the whole day if you wanted a break you can walk out in central park and grab a snack. If you go you should totally document it on video. Not even 10% was convered in the movie that's how huge it is
This is one of my favorite trilogies despite how I haven't had the chance to see them very often.
I loved this trilogy my last childhood years and decided to rewatch them this last month, all the characters and actors are amazing 😍. This movie isn´t PEEEERFECT, but it does has its charm with the exhibits coming to life and the magic tablet, its just Wonderful 🥰
I LOVE this movie. I saw it for the first time in third grade on a movie day and have loved the series ever since.
