Yanli is the best sister ever. Other than Wen Ning, Wen Qing, and Lan Zhan, she was the only person that still trusted him wholeheartedly. Even when her husband died, she hurried onto the battlefield because she wanted to tell A-Xian that she didn't blame him but died before saying so :(((

Yanli is the only one who loved Wei Wuxian from the beginning to the end, unconditionally. No matter what happened she never distrusted him. Even when her husband got killed and the blame was put on Wei Wuxian she trusted him. From the first episode I knew Yanli dies because why else would Jiang Cheng be so mad at Wwx because even Jc is tempermental he never truly wanted wwx dead. I was prepared for her to die but I wasn't prepared for the way she loved and trusted wwx. She is one of the character that I come to respect and aspire to be. I hope we all can learn to trust and love unconditionally like her and may that trust and love never hurt us back.
She was the only mom figure he ever had, and she looked at him as someone that needed a lot of guidance; someone that needed a parent figure because the boy has barely any recollection of his own biological parents. We could even learn from the romantic love between him and Lan Zhan, Wangji never gave up on him too and did whatever he could to protect him in the past and in the present.
Wei Wuxian committed the ultimate sin and Lan Wanji took his punishment upon himself

Out of all the songs in CQL, this one made me cry the most. Actually, this is the first time I cried over a song. The melody is sad, the lyrics is also sad. Most importantly, it has a meaning to it but I still cried even tho I will never relate to it at all….the storyline and the songs just fit so well I can’t- 🥲😭

Agree, I don't think he went put of control, some circumstances and events were not in his control. He was always staying on the righteous path, just in a different way. This is a very deep drama with multiple levels in each relationship. Loyalty, honor, respect, commitment, sacrifice, sorrow, pain and love arel all demonstrated. Even in the worst if times the siblings loved each other. I could say much more but I'll make it simple and sat A+ for this drama

I just rewatch this drama 2 weeks ago and you know what thats a bad decision yet sweet cures cuz i can watch yizhan moment again but when im already at the final ep i just cant stop crying cuz i need to bear the pain again....
Someone please tell me how to move on please!! I'm stuck with this drama for 2 years already 😭💔
