To paint it I used:
***Paper :
Clairefontaine Fontaine cold-pressed watercolor paper 300gsm or 140lb, 20x20 cm or 8x8 in, divided into 3 parts
If you have a bit higher budget
Arches
More affordable watercolor paper 100% cellulose I would recommend for beginners - Canson Montval
***Watercolors :
I used eco-friendly watercolors I made myself

I'm pretty much an abosulte beginner at watercolor. However, I was able to follow this tutorial and love how it turned out! At the end, I liked it too much as a complete picture, so I didn't turn it into bookmarks. I definitely want to try more of your tutorials. Thanks for the fun project!

So many good tips (how to scrape off the salt, using water when painting the circles to get the lovely fade) that will be useful whether you make the bookmarks or not!

Thank you, Carolyn. 😊 No, I do not. I just don't expose my paintings to direct light. And when hanging on wall, I put them under glass.😁

Can you tell me which Lebenzon liner brush you used. There are so many on the site it’s hard to tell the exact one. Thank you.

But you will see a bit different handle, because they are all handmade and done using bamboo, so each is unique. :)

Do you sell these bookmarks at your Etsy store? They would make great handouts with Bible verses to be given to the sick, or someone who wants to follow Jesus. They are so pretty.
