While the referee should have stopped the fight, the blue corner's team also could have thrown in the towel to prevent their fighter from further damage/injury. It is clear that blue corner's team doesn't care about the health and well being of their own fighter.
That said, red didn't do what was necessary to stop the fight, even though she (easily) could have, and gave up a significant bonus for showing mercy where it has no place.
Red must develop/cultivate the kind of killer instinct that is essential to be successful in the sport. If she gets her head on straight, she can become a world champion. If not, perhaps she should do something else.
