Start the MCU , journey, watch them in order of release, dont skip, each movie builds on the past, and the payoff is Golden. ..great to see you kids having fun. Again take the Journey best decade of Comic movies ever!
Great to see someone else starting their MCU journey! I would love to see you continue. This was good. The thing to understand with the Marvel movies is that they are all one big single story. It won't feel like it at first as the first few are stand alone, but you will see some connections. That said, the order you will want to watch the first phase (phase 1) is: Iron Man (just watched) The Incredible Hulk (2008, don't snag the older one) Iron Man 2 Thor Captain America: The First Avenger The Avengers Couple of things to know with the MCU movies. There will always be a cameo by one of the creators, Stan Lee (well, until he passes away, but that is a ways away). In this movie he was 'hugh hefner' It's fun to watch for him and catch them... like a Marvel version of Where's Waldo. The next is that these all (except the incredible hulk) have an after and/or mid credit scene you will want to watch. You missed this one, and it is pretty cool with it's implications. After the first two there is a couple of recastings, but we can talk about that later.
3 rules to Marvel movies. 1 watch in release order 2 watch out for Stan Lee's guest appearance in every movie. 3 always watch the after credit senses, sometimes there are more then one.
I enjoyed your reaction, you two! Don't forget to remind your commenters to not leave spoilers! Most MCU fans know this already, but some others may just have too much enthusiasm! The best is yet to come so buckle up and enjoy the ride!!!!
Two pieces of advice, always watch the end credits, as they (almost) always hint at what is going to happen in future Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies. And watch them in release order, as they are all part of an overall arc . Enjoy!
I wasn't sure whether or not I'd like this movie--but I really enjoyed watching you two react to it! I guess I have to go watch it now, it does look pretty good. Thank you Asia and BJ!
Great job, guys! Two comments on this: 1. Be sure to watch the tags after the end credits because each one leads into the following film. 2. It’s best to view these films chronologically in order to understand the whole story. The next film is ‘The Incredible Hulk’, followed by ‘Iron Man 2.’
I would say it's best to view these films in release order like everyone else did. Chronological won't improve understanding the story by much and could also take people out of it when the quality of the films keep changing.
Please go through all of this MCU timeline in sequential order!!! These are some of the best movies ever made and you want to do them as they came out to keep the timeline straight! You guys are in for a wild ride that you will totally be vested in as you get to know the stories and the characters! I call it comics for adults!!! One of my favorite movie journeys in history❤
Yassss!!! Y’all gotta keep goin’. And y’all have to wait and check out all of the end credits for ALL of the MARVEL movies. They all have previews/Easter eggs to the next movies.
Guys, anytime you watch a Marvel movie, there's always a scene at the very end...after the credits that gives you a hint of the next movie. You completely skipped the Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) scene at the end of the credits.
That guy who was “Hugh Hefner” was Stan Lee. Stan Lee is a legend. He created most of the popular Marvel superheroes and was head of Marvel comics for many years and highly accomplished and revered. He wrote many comics for Marvel before becoming the head hauncho. Stan Lee makes a cameo in almost every single Marvel movie as he is the grandfather of Marvel. Try to spot him in the Marvel movies
Stan Lee being the creator of the most popular Marvel superheroes is more of a myth than a fact. The real creator is an artist named Jack Kirby (and to a lesser extent, Steve Ditko who created Spider-Man and Dr Strange). Kirby created most of the early characters and the stories while Stan Lee just wrote the characters' dialogue. The reason Stan gets all the credit is because he was the ultimate salesman, and the thing he was best at selling was himself. Every time Marvel needed any publicity, it was Stan they wheeled out to talk to the media, and eventually Kirby and Ditko became disillusioned by their treatment (lack of credit, lack of royalties, not even getting their original art returned to them) and left the company. Honestly, I do have a soft spot for Stan Lee, and his salesmanship is one of the reasons why Marvel became so popular, but the fact that Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko's names aren't plastered all over these movies is criminal.
Asia on behalf of Jensen: "I'm not helping you if you're not helping me." Minutes later, Asia on behalf of Stark: "You take care, I'm gonna be on my way."
BJ's history with Iron Man is pretty much just like evey one elses was. We all saw him in comocs growing up, some people might've been super into him...but most people for real didn't give a damn about Iron Man lol. The movies changed all that and now hes gotta be top 5 in popularity, alot of people's numero uno. Wild, but its a testament to Robert Downey and what he brings to every scene. ✊🏽🖤
Make sure you watch right 'till the end... This movie has an after credit scene. Most MCU films have even a few (mid credit AND post credit scenes). Also watch for Stan Lee cameos in EVERY MCU movie. :)
love u guys starting the MCU.. only advice is to watch EVERY movie by theatrical release order... best way to avoid spoilers and also follow the larger story line easier
1. Hugh Hefner in the movie was played by Stan Lee the creator of Marvel comics. He has a cameo in every movie all the way to endgame so keep an eye out! 2. Don't forget about the post credit scenes. They will give you teasers on what's to come! 3. Enjoy! Cant wait to watch this journey!
Congrats on starting the Marvel journey!! You guys are going to love them. They are such amazing movies. Make sure you guys watch them in order! A few other reactors are doin this as well. It might help to do 1 or 2 every week so you can get them all in. Somebody else probably already mentioned it but make sure to watch the end credits. Marvel always gives a little extra at the end. Enjoy!
That's the Black Sabbath song at the end! Bassist Geezer Butler wrote the lyrics to "Iron Man" in 1970. It's unrelated to the comic book superhero. The song is about a man who travels to the future and witnesses the Apocalypse. When he returns to his time and tries to warn everyone, no one listens to him. Enraged, he causes the very Apocalypse that he saw in the future. Self-fulling prophecy.
22:15. That old man was Stan Lee. December 28, 1922 - November 12, 2018. Stan Lee worked at Marvel Comics, and he created the characters. Ant-Man. Hulk. Captain Marvel. Spider Man. Black Panther. Iron Man. Thor. And that's just a few of the Marvel characters that Stan Lee created.

There is always a after credit scene in the MCU movies keep going in order on the journey through the MCU universe and stan lee makes a cameo appearance in all the movies
37:44 Yeap) The Batman and Iron Man is very similar. Nothing surprising. Comic book writers and artists change companies every now and then. And they do not disdain borrowing characters. Iron-Man/Batman, Darkseid/Tanos and many, many-many others...
Apogee is the highest point, for example you throw a ball in the air it goes up and up and reaches apogee and comes back down again. if you're in orbit around the Earth and never come down again you are at apogee when you're furthest away from the Earth (highest point) and perigee when you are closest (lowest point.)
Honestly I would say you guys should check out the original Spider-Man trilogy with Tobey Maguire and the amazing Spider-Man duo-logy with Andrew Garfield as well as the first two Deadpool movies with Ryan Reynolds it’ll do good to see those because those movies are now cannon to the MCU. Oh and Logan sorry guys lol😂 Edit: Also remember to check out the end credit scenes they add to the overall story in the entire franchise.
@@devanworkman8745 Not really I didn’t say how that’s for them to find out unless I say exactly how or what’s going to happen it doesn’t spoil a thing. Most people who are new to this franchise have no idea what’s going to happen. Those first 5 Spiderman movies are just very important to the later movies that’s why I added that. And if it were such a spoiler to say Deadpool being apart of the MCU why would marvel publicly come out to announce that months ago we know Deadpool 3 is going to be cannon we just don’t know how. Watching these movies is about the buildup it would be a shame for them to not watch those Spider-Man movies then get to the later movies and wonder who certain characters were and what’s even going on same with the future of Deadpool.
Lets be real. Nobody appreciated Iron Man until this movie came out. I've always felt like he was the most underappreciated Avenger BEFORE this movie came out. Robert Downey MADE IRON MAN. He portrayed Stark SO well that Iron Man went from being the least popular Avenger to the most popular. Such a great job
The single reason why Robert Downey, Jr., is the comeback kid of the entertainment industry and perfectly cast and it's inconceivable that they initially didn't want him and had another actor in mind who passed on it. Serendipity!!!! The funny part about Pepper and Tony almost kissing is that Robert and Gwyneth actually dated in back in the day. Oh you didn't watch through the end credits. With ALL the Marvel movies, you HAVE TO watch after the credits. Tony's parents were killed in a car accident years before. There's more on that in later movies. YES, keep going but you could go in chronological order for the Marvel movies which you'll need to go back to Captain America the First Avenger before watching others.
@@joshd2013 Mel helped RDJ get back into acting after his prison stint but that's not what I meant. Jon Favreau and Kevin Feige had wanted Clive Owen and he passed on it. RDJ wasn't their first choice but he was the best choice and RDJ was back and better than ever in a way he hadn't been before because nobody wanted to take a chance on him with his history but Jon and Kevin knew he was Tony Stark because RDJ beat out Timothy Olyphant who was the only other person they were considering.
Ironman was the first comics that really pulled me into collecting so when this came out I was stoked! It follows the comic book really well, updating from Vietnam to the Middle East! They did a great job and there so much more to follow. Always stay till the end of the credits for the epilogue. Robert Downey Jr. Is Tony Stark and Ironman!
You picked a good one to start watching! This was the first ever film, and what is now known as the MCU. I hope you check out non-MCU films as well because there’s some gyms among marvel films way before the MCU existed. Personal suggestions: 1. Spider-Man Trilogy with Tobey Maguire 2. The Incredible Hulk (Pilot movie from the 1970’s) 3. Blade Trilogy 4. The Punisher (2004) 5. Fantastic Four from the 2000’s 6. The X-Men series from the 2000s through 2017. Anyway, I’ll come back after I finish watching your video reaction to Iron Man.
I was hoping y'all would jump into the MCU! Great video as always; you'll love the journey. I suggest y'all watch in theatrical release order since the also tell a longer story. Also, stick around for post credit scenes after each movie. Great job as always!
This might technically fall under the category of a spoiler, but I really hope they never recast live-action Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr. set a really high bar, in terms of his performance as Tony Stark/Iron Man. A portrayal that can never be outdone.
I've always been a DC comics guy myself. But I fell in love with the Marvel movies as each release seemingly coincided with my son's birthday, so they've been a birthday tradition for the past 10 years or so.....
Three things to watch for in every MCU movie: 1. Stan Lee cameo, the head of Marvel Comics, and creator of many of these characters. Here, he was mistaken(?) for Hugh Hefner. 2. End Credit Scenes - there's sometimes more than one, and they're often quite good and important, and they often give little teasers about the next MCU movie. 3. At least one scene in almost every MCU movie where someone ejects/jumps/falls out of an aircraft.
Great to see you start this epic journey, it really looks like one you're going to enjoy. There's a lot of exposition in the opening credits for Hulk so keep a close eye on them.😁
I wanted to double what has already been said. Watch each movie to the very end. You missed some very important information by not watching through the credits. Each Marvel movie has scenes that go through the credits. By watching the movies in the order they were released, you will learn how they all are connected. The next should be the Incredible Hulk, then Iron Man 2 and they will go on from there. I'm sure people in the comments will let you know which one comes next. Glad to be on this journey with you.
Great reaction you two! 😊 Welcome to the MCU!!! You are both in for a long, but an incredible journey. This is ranks very highly on my top favorite MCU movies so far. Always remember, there's always going to be another a mid-credit and/or a post-credit scene after each movie. And it's best for first time MCU movie watchers to watch in release order. That being said, up next is the 2008 "The Incredible Hulk". Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊
Just a friendly reminder that most movies and some of the series has end credits scenes. Be sure to get hyped by wondering what's coming with those and like you said Iron man is MCUs batman. Way better imo but i hope you do continue your MCU journey because there's more bangers to come.
I'm surprised your patreon sponsors didn't tell you to monitor all MCU movies to the end to capture the closing credits videos which usually give a hint to the next MCU movie.
Yes, please watch the MCU movie journey. Important MCU tips: 1) Walch in release order. These movies are all connected into one giant story. 2) Look for Stan Lee cameos. He was Hugh Hefner in this one. 3) There will always be mid-credit scenes and post credit scenes so watch to the very end. They connect the story with vital information.
Great review. I hope you continue with the MCU movies. Two things are some have already pointed out you need to watch the credits as pretyt much all Marvel movies have at least one post credit scene, some have more than one. Also its best to watch them in release order. They are broken up into phases and each movie leads into the next one in some way Phase One: 1. Iron Man (2008) 2. The Incredible Hulk (2008) 3. Iron Man 2 (2010) 4. Thor (2011) 5. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) 6. The Avengers (2012) It truly is best to watch them in this order

Aww that's cute, you're a good Daddy ♥
Start the MCU , journey, watch them in order of release, dont skip, each movie builds on the past, and the payoff is Golden. ..great to see you kids having fun. Again take the Journey best decade of Comic movies ever!
Great to see someone else starting their MCU journey! I would love to see you continue. This was good.
The thing to understand with the Marvel movies is that they are all one big single story. It won't feel like it at first as the first few are stand alone, but you will see some connections.
That said, the order you will want to watch the first phase (phase 1) is:
Iron Man (just watched)
The Incredible Hulk (2008, don't snag the older one)
Iron Man 2
Thor
Captain America: The First Avenger
The Avengers
Couple of things to know with the MCU movies.
This is gonna be a journey for you guys! The tears will come.
Phase 4wilbreak them both maybe Asia definitely
I enjoyed your reaction, you two! Don't forget to remind your commenters to not leave spoilers! Most MCU fans know this already, but some others may just have too much enthusiasm! The best is yet to come so buckle up and enjoy the ride!!!!
Two pieces of advice, always watch the end credits, as they (almost) always hint at what is going to happen in future Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies.
And watch them in release order, as they are all part of an overall arc .
Enjoy!
I am so glad you liked Ironman! Tony is not only a billionaire, he's a genius, has a sense of humor, and love's Pepper!
@@visheshshivraj6055 That’s actually what I meant by Chronologically.
@@chamberofprogress5025 you good I figured
Don't forget to watch the end credit scenes!
MCU is so stupid
Please go through all of this MCU timeline in sequential order!!! These are some of the best movies ever made and you want to do them as they came out to keep the timeline straight! You guys are in for a wild ride that you will totally be vested in as you get to know the stories and the characters! I call it comics for adults!!! One of my favorite movie journeys in history❤
Yassss!!! Y’all gotta keep goin’. And y’all have to wait and check out all of the end credits for ALL of the MARVEL movies. They all have previews/Easter eggs to the next movies.
Yooooooo it’s about damn time y’all doing the MCU…..don’t cheat yourselves, treat yourselves…luv u guys❤😂!!!
Glad you guys started to do reactions to the MCU and I promise you it’s going to get bigger and better
You must watch the credits for bonus scenes, and watch in release order.....
The MCU series is going to be fun.
Make sure to watch the extra stuff after the credits. MCU movies has a lot of end credits scenes.
This is the begining of a beautiful journey. With the Marvel Cinematic universe... Keep watching in chronological order
The military has been trying to build the real life version of the Iron man suit for 20 years
More like 60. For some good wiki-wormholing check out the Hardiman suit
You have to see the end credits for additional clips
Guys, anytime you watch a Marvel movie, there's always a scene at the very end...after the credits that gives you a hint of the next movie. You completely skipped the Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) scene at the end of the credits.
Make sure y'all watch through the end credits. Marvel movies almost always have at least one if not two or three cut scenes!
Asia on behalf of Jensen: "I'm not helping you if you're not helping me."
Minutes later, Asia on behalf of Stark: "You take care, I'm gonna be on my way."
This movie definitely turned Stark from a B-list character to an A-list character.
Make sure you watch right 'till the end... This movie has an after credit scene. Most MCU films have even a few (mid credit AND post credit scenes). Also watch for Stan Lee cameos in EVERY MCU movie. :)
You gotta visual forward to the after credits scenes
love u guys starting the MCU.. only advice is to watch EVERY movie by theatrical release order... best way to avoid spoilers and also follow the larger story line easier
As far as DC goes, y’all should watch the *Christopher* *Reeve* “Superman” (1978)
It’s one of the first successful superhero movies
❤ love that you're doing the MCU, sit back and enjoy the ride. You're in for a lot of good movies in the MCU.
It breaks my heart when Pepper asks to what to do with the old heart…”Proof that Tony has a heart…” 😢😢😢
YES! Looking forward to y'all travelling through the MCU. I won't repeat a lot of what's been said. But I hope you continue with these.
Don’t forget the after credit scene.
(( *SCREENSHOT THIS* )) or Copy n Paste
In the *MCU* the movie storylines intertwine so they’re supposed to be watched in order of release date:

Thor (April 2011)
Captain America: The First Avenger (July 2011)

Having been present since day one in the theaters with this, I couldn't imagine having to start this journey with soooo much content. Hope ya have fun! You will!
At the end of each move the are extra story. So make sure to go to the end 😊😊
I’ve been waiting for this! I hope you guys continue the MCU!
Gotta check out all the MCU. Iron Man to Endgame is a journey that no other studio has ever been able to create. It’s a beautiful exciting series.
Nope, not Hugh Heffner, it was Stan Lee, then genius who thought up all these comic book characters and their origin stories.
Oh and Logan sorry guys lol😂
Edit: Also remember to check out the end credit scenes they add to the overall story in the entire franchise.
That's kinda a spoiler saying the Raimi Spider-man trilogy is canon along with the two Amazing Spider-man movies just saying.
It was Mel Gibson who passed it on to rob to help him come back being sober Mel also helped him and was a big reason he got sober
Go back and watch the END CREDITS scene…either off camera OR AS A SHORT
It's fantastic that every single iconic pop culture movie ever made has gone completely under their radar until they started this channel!
Don’t forget to watch the end credit scene!! So happy you started the mcu !
Personal suggestions:
1. Spider-Man Trilogy with Tobey Maguire
2. The Incredible Hulk (Pilot movie from the 1970’s)
3. Blade Trilogy
4. The Punisher (2004)
5. Fantastic Four from the 2000’s
The Journey has begun, have a great time with these ones
Can't wait to follow you through the MCU. Still rewatching your Blues Brothers reaction; you had me from the moment Asia said "That's a Hell no". ❤❤❤
also: "this looks important." is the actual line from the comic book.
Me: "RDJ made marvel(MCU) in a movie with a bunch of sarcasm"
Phase 4: "I'm not RDJ"
Gotta watch the after credits scene! Sets up the beginning of the Avengers and the rest of the MCU!
I'm so excited for you two to begin the MCU journey.
Three things to watch for in every MCU movie:
Welcome to the MCU!!!
He's so perfect as Stark. Never get tired of watching this and him. Hell all the MCU character's were perfectly cast.
This is probably the best movie out of the MCU
Just a friendly reminder that most movies and some of the series has end credits scenes. Be sure to get hyped by wondering what's coming with those and like you said Iron man is MCUs batman. Way better imo but i hope you do continue your MCU journey because there's more bangers to come.
I'm surprised your patreon sponsors didn't tell you to monitor all MCU movies to the end to capture the closing credits videos which usually give a hint to the next MCU movie.
Yes, please watch the MCU movie journey. Important MCU tips:
1) Walch in release order. These movies are all connected into one giant story.
2) Look for Stan Lee cameos. He was Hugh Hefner in this one.
3) There will always be mid-credit scenes and post credit scenes so watch to the very end. They connect the story with vital information.
Yes!!! Finally starting the MCU Journey. I am here for it!!
Asia killed me w that, "I don't know where Tony at, but I'll chill." 😂
Quick note - the creator of Marvel, Stan Lee, always makes a small cameo in these movies. In this one he was Hugh Hefner at red carpet scene. lol
Great review. I hope you continue with the MCU movies. Two things are some have already pointed out you need to watch the credits as pretyt much all Marvel movies have at least one post credit scene, some have more than one. Also its best to watch them in release order. They are broken up into phases and each movie leads into the next one in some way
Phase One:
1. Iron Man (2008)
2. The Incredible Hulk (2008)
3. Iron Man 2 (2010)
4. Thor (2011)
5. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
6. The Avengers (2012)
It truly is best to watch them in this order
