It is - but it's MUCH much easier to use Flexi Designer with the Roland BN2. If you want to use illustrator with the BN machines, I have videos on my channel for that.
@@SilhouetteSchool If I have a design that has a perf cut and a contour cut (kiss cut) I can’t define each type of cuts properties. It’s like it’s a global cut setting that gets applied to all the cuts. Does that make sense?
@@j.rabbitcrafts I did! While you can set those cut setting globally, you do have the option to set things individually. I have found that you can set the type of cut line within Flexi and then if you put that into VersaWroks, it will respect whatever you set up. So being that you set it with colors to define what type of cut line it is, the software will "see" that and cut appropriately. I have not found the need to print and or cut through Flexi. I use Flexi as a way to set my cut lines instead of Illustrator or other software. Flexi fills that need for me nicely. Then I just export out of Flexi and into VersaWorks and it works like a dream! @SilhouetteSchool thank you it worked but now I can't install flexidesign.. I got the bundle and it said it was included I don't know where to get the activation code can you assist on that?
@@valjoelialIf you got your machine from Swing, check the plastic cover that it came in. There should have been a small plastic bag taped to it with a laminated sheet and some papers. One of the papers has the Flexi activation code.

My Flexidesigner was installed outside of the Roland Utility (by my IT dept) and I can't install it in the utility. Any ideas on fixing this issue?
If I purchase a BN2-20A, is the software free or is it under a subscription model?
