VF ones: 1408 Lisbon goat recently, may be in Barreiro for repairs. 1404 Medway, a freight operator (and in their livery). Contumil passenger: 1413, 1424, 1429,1432, 1436, 1438,1455,1461 all recently active on Douro passenger. 1415 Lisboa SA goat. 1427, 1454 under overhaul at Barreiro. Great video, really captures what it's like. I've been over a few times this year.
Thanks Becky, great to have that extra info. I plan to go over next year to try and photograph them working on freights. Off to Sri Lanka in February. Really looking forward to it.
The meter, narrow gauge line was officially closed in 2018 but the last train ran in 2008, from that time a replacement taxi service used to operate. The narrow gauge line used to run to Bragança but the section between Mirandela and Bragança was closed following a train accident in 1991 in which a passenger died. An investigation found the line to be unsafe and required urgent repairs. There are many narrow gauge relics to explore around Tua Station.
Thanks John, I have been playing with a new drone, mainly doing photography. Its been hard to do photography, video and drone so something had to slip off the table. I am slowly getting back up to speed. Thanks for your support.
@@MrStapletonRoad I’ve always wanted to see drone footage of the stations. Get a proper idea of the scale and layout, I’m sure you will come up with something, you’ve clearly a gift for it
Greatly enjoyed watching your latest video. Thank you for sharing it with us...

Thanks for the excellent film, great sounds from the Class 1400 there. Are any of the first ten still around, or any of class preserved in Portugal?
1404 works in the Lisbon area I believe. Not sure about preservation of any. Thanks for taking a look.
Another quality video with quality scenery. Good to see you back man
