Such an inspiring thing. Nothing feels better to get an emotional response from the film you made. Whether it's through laughter, tears, joy or anger. My best friend and film collaborator finished a horror film last year and we had a theatre premiere in January on his birthday. Unfortunately my friend passed away before the new year and he couldn't experience how much we loved him and his movie and the work he's done over the years. Congrats Danny. I’m still blown away by how good this film is. I sat down hoping that it would be great for Danny and the crew. I knew going in that some part of me was searching for things to praise about it but about 7 minutes in I completely forgot to be looking for positive notes about it..bc it’s just genuinely good. The story, the characters, the writing and the visuals pull you in so quickly and you can’t help but be invested in the characters. I joked with Danny before going in that I had some fake tears ready but they were definitely not needed. Danny, to you and the crew, y’all crushed it. You made a freaking feature film. I’m sure this isn’t the reason you made it, but just like everything else you put out, this film and the way that it was produced proves that filmmaking is changing and that we as artists are able to tell stories that are important to us and important to the world. It's such a surreal feeling to see your hard work finally paying off, and watching the audience in awe or feeling "emotions", then laughing at the punch lines of the film-that I haven't seen yet.. is so awesome!

Such an inspiring thing. Nothing feels better to get an emotional response from the film you made. Whether it's through laughter, tears, joy or anger. My best friend and film collaborator finished a horror film last year and we had a theatre premiere in January on his birthday. Unfortunately my friend passed away before the new year and he couldn't experience how much we loved him and his movie and the work he's done over the years. Congrats Danny. This is only the beginning.

I was thinking around the 2 minute mark when you were talking about worries that it might "fail"...and I was like, it exists, it's not possible for it to fail! I’m still blown away by how good this film is. I sat down hoping that it would be great for Danny and the crew. I knew going in that some part of me was searching for things to praise about it but about 7 minutes in I completely forgot to be looking for positive notes about it..bc it’s just genuinely good. The story, the characters, the writing and the visuals pull you in so quickly and you can’t help but be invested in the characters. I joked with Danny before going in that I had some fake tears ready but they were definitely not needed.
Danny, to you and the crew, y’all crushed it. You made a freaking feature film. I’m sure this isn’t the reason you made it, but just like everything else you put out, this film and the way that it was produced proves that filmmaking is changing and that we as artists are able to tell stories that are important to us and important to the world. Absolutely inspiring. That all sounds very dramatic 😂 but this BTS got me emotional. Can’t wait to see this film again one day.
