I don't know what it is about you, but you're so refreshing to watch. Much more interesting than those influencers trying to pursuade you to buy loads of stuff you don't need.(Which I have been guilty of subscribing to). You are a great entertainer, and I loved your Wonder Woman impression the other day. I admire you for everything you're doing in your home, garden, and looking after your health. Just don't know how you find the time to film as well. 😱 Plus, the cheeky look in your eyes sometimes makes me chuckle. Have a booootiful weekend, Sean. I'm off now to the garden to continue building my raised vegetable bed, oh, and maybe paint the summerhouse too. Bye for now 🤣 ❤
You are so lucky to live in such a quiet place. Here in the South of England we are being over developed with houses everywhere, and horrendous traffic.
Enjoyed that little mooch out Sean. Thank you.. Yes remember my Grans kitchen cabinet being like a light sage green with a cream colour.. The lamp is beautiful. You're achieving loads right now.
Good morning Sean, I love your little village walks, you always point out the beauty of the nature that a lot of people take for granted. The lady in the shop reminded me of the lovely Ruth Madoc, I do love accents! Mmm, sweet potato chips! Hope you enjoyed them.At least you weren't moving furniture about today and sweating cobs! 😂 Take care Sean 💜
Skipping breakfast is part of intermittent fasting. It postpones your body dealing with food, and the chemical process inside is a good one. It does help to be able to walk that inspiring walk to the PO. All good.
Glad you are painting the cabinet. A nice green to compliment your new lamp would be nice. Also, maybe carry a backpack for shopping and adventures. Pack water and lunch for when you go to the homestead in it too.
Lovely to walk with you among such beautiful surroundings. The lamp will sit perfectly on your desk. You certainly bring out the feelings of nostalgia in me with all these pieces of past times.Im off to Barmouth today on the train, going to chill out on the beach if its not wet and windy.
Oh Sean so enjoyed the river the shops the people so traditional as in Wales is .. .and you are so natural no airs and gracias naturally funny and old fashioned like a breath of fresh Welsh air beautiful just what I love ..❤ love from Aberystwyth xx
NAFLD benefits from eating only in an 8 hour window. This is also called intermittent fasting. I have NAFLD too. Have gone from 118kg to 108kg. So lost a stone and a bit. LONG JOURNEY. X
I love the paper bag for the veg instead of plastic. awesome. I try to avoid it here at home as much as possible, but it is still so very much a part of the grocery store. excellent stroll next to the water. lovely day. thanks.
Love joining you for your walks by the river. So lush and very relaxing to stroll along with you. Sad that there is no bakery in your village. It would be so nice to have the smell of fresh baked good wafting along the street. I was wondering why there is no brown bread. Multigrain and brown whole wheat bread is so delicious. I guess it is not popular in your area. Have a great weekend. Here in the Vancouver area in BC Canada we are expecting some very heavy downpours . No need to water for the next few days. Good luck with your painting project. My Grandma’s was a soft green with white trim. Wish I had it. It even had a built in flour sifter.
It is trendy to have a basket on wheels nowadays Sean that might help for larger shopping trips. Lovely vid thank you I enjoyed it 🙏💎 love the light too
Sean, We have lots of Meres Tail in Rhyl.i believe it's something to do with a sea bed. The roots are down so deep it's almost impossible to rid it, but have method, you wouldn't like, that helps. Its a prehistoric plant I think, as you probably know. 😊 Sandra. Rhyl
Love your Anglepoise lamp with the traditional green shade. Agree with you that the kitchen cabinet needs to be toned down a bit, the ones I remember were usually cream or pale green but please do this in the winter Sean when you have more time. Keep calm and carry on.
We had a blue one & so did my friends family, but I remember a bright yellow one in one of my mum's friends house! It stuck out, but really brightened up a small dingy kitchen.
Another lovely vlog. I’m getting braver now about planting in our small garden, having seen how lovely your garden is looking. We’ve bought some pinks to go in and are filling all the containers we have with a mixture of snapdragons (they remind me of my childhood gardens) petunias, geraniums and herbs.
My colors after buying my home 24 yrs ago were Forest Green for the cabinets and white for the hinges and cupboard handles. the white with the rich dark green of the Forest Green paint is so nice. I love trees and the reason for buying this home was it had a attached garage and a beautiful Birchwood Tree in the back yard along with Cedar Trees, 4 to be exact. My love of trees goes back to my early years of 4 and onward for many decades, which for me is over 6 of them. I think you will love the results if those are what you chose for your cabinet. Love what you are filling your beautiful home with all of the special buys from the New to You store. Bravo on the move and your new life.
They don't supply bulbs with lamps and usually only one type will fit. Loving your walk into the village along the river. I walk along the canal from my house into Chester. Thought you might have taken your cart to carry shopping, looks really useful. annot wait to see what colours you paint that lovely kitchen cabinet xx
I was back in the Rhonda Heritage Park yesterday with my family for a Planetarium show in a huge tent. We all sat on the floor with a cushion. I recommend the Chocolate House cafe
I have been using Micael Mosleys Keto plan with some success and buy Lidl or Aldi 10% Greek yoghurt and eat with frozen cherries and raspberries - high protein and very delicious! I don’t think he says too much about liver disease but maybe he could help out. I tend to be suspicious of tv experts but am inclined to trust him 🙂
Wonderful blog, just all the greens and the trees, the river & you hear the river just magical Thank you so much Sean I listen to the Archers. But I am behind. I listen when on iplayer Thank you once again, Sean, for taking us with you
Garden is looking great . Try and keep the mint plants away from one another as they can cross pollinate and end up all tasting “muddy”. looking forward to seeing the Martin Roberts video, I love Homes Under The Hammer.
Hi lovely area, i have used prime try before you buy, when ordering clothes from amazon, recently got a lightweight rain jacket. U can order a few sizes, then just return, u dont pay till you, say you want to keep, u get a 7 day window.
I love your aesthetic regarding your vintage purchases. Your house garden is just brimming over with beauty and a sense of wild abundance. The backdrop of the stone steps and wall set off the plants beautifully. Glad you are biting the bullet and overcoming the frustrations of renewing your passport. Be glad you’re not trying to replace a UK passport from the United States. The rigmarole I have had to go through has been stupendously frustrating. I even had to get a friend to vouch for my “likeness” in the picture and vouch for the fact that who I said I was, I in fact was that person. The length of very personal details he had to include about himself including a colour copy of his own passport seemed invasive to me. But then again with heightened security necessary these days I do understand. Lesson learned - don’t lose your passport and renew prior to expiration. Phew! Hope this helps a UK citizen who lives overseas.
Hi Sean from south central Texas. One observation about the grocery bags made from paper. I use to live in California where they banned paper bags. They are environmentally minded sometimes to extremes (banned plastic straws I forgot what sea creature was injured by it, oh my😂). Though in Texas they don’t have a ban on paper bags you can’t find one for love of money. Apparently you can build houses with wood but bags are a “huge” waste on resources…. The bags I did save have long since gone so seeing yours….on well.😢
Such a Beautiful walk to the post office. You are so lucky with public transport. It outer eastern Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 it’s an hour and a half between buses during non peak times! At least 45 minutes between trains.
Just like me everything done around the archers. Used to listen to it when driving as a courier and now the work has stopped I still tune into the Archers twice a day lol. Love watching you build your new life back in Wales. I'm planning on moving back to be near my family, currently 187 miles away from them. Keep up the good work.
Re your comment about working on your allotment for 17 years and not having the impetus to get started on your new one, you are enjoying and working on your move, your brilliant house and the village and general environs, enjoy and next year you will do the gardening thing again with gusto. Best of luck with all of your plans.
. you're keeping the kitchenette in the house. Lovely lamp , oh and don't be proud. Get yourself a shopping trolley travelling on the bus. Lovely Sean x❤
Enjoyed your walk to the shops to do abit of shopping. Glad you have decide to keep the kitchen cabinet for food storage. Be nice to see the colours of paint you chose for it. Your back garden looking good with your flowers blooming. Like your table lamp. Have a great weekend.
Another great video Sean, wonderful walk a great tripto the past office and nice bus ride home.. garden looking amazing love the rocky walls too.... make your self a nice pot of tea you deserve it.... thanks for sharing..
I find intermittent fasting very helpful as well as a good walk to burn off my extra pounds. Your lamp is lovely. The green shade and chain are definitely reminiscent of a bank lamp. The older I get, the more nostalgic I become. The river is so clear. What a wonderful walk along it. I'm looking forward to seeing your homestead soon. Its exactly 7 am here. Your wealth of garden knowledge is much appreciated. Be well from Oregon in the US.
Prynhawn Da Sean, What a joyful video taking us on your outings, twas lovely thank you. Ooh I’m so excited for your Martin Roberts interview, the man is a legend, I can’t wait for that. I’m so chuffed you are keeping that kitchenette & I think you’re right to change the colour to one that suits your little Welsh cottage. Anyone thinking of purchasing a property in Wales next to one of our many beautiful rivers should definitely get an insurance quote because the insurance may be more expensive than the mortgage itself. My friend in Llanrwst has sadly had to sell her beloved terraced cottage because she can no longer afford the extortionate cost of insuring it. I hope you’re having a lovely weekend, the sun is finally shining in the north 🌞 Annie 🏴

May your plants grow good and strong. Great to meet you.
We switched to breakfast at 11:30 and dinner at 18:00 and feel much better for it - the weight is down, more energy, less bloated after meals.
Lovely array of climbers and creepers in your cracks and crevices !❤
Brown paper bags like that remind me of ones they have with their groceries in American movies
@janebass3372...Plus they are great for breathing into & calming an unfortunate sufferer of a panic attack.
