Thanks for all the great video's. I'm a newley retired 60 year old that started my self employed career car valeting some 40 years ago and watching your video's really takes me back. I have been binge watching for the last week 😄 ... Now retired I can re kindle my love of cleaning my own cars for enjoyment ! ... The quality of the content you are producing is first class and shows you are someone who takes great care and effort in what you do and that also shows in your business. Good luck in your new workshop build and for the future. I look forward to seeing the progress.
Thanks Robert. I wish I could retire from it because I miss the enjoyment of car cleaning. The stress of work takes over and it gets overwhelming sometimes. Love cleaning my own car when I get the chance. Thanks so much for watching the videos I really appreciate it
I used a version of the max shine tool a couple weeks ago in a toyota rav 4, it got the hair from a white German shepherd out the carpets easily especially if you spray a little bit of soapy water onto the carpets first.
I used the dyson tangle free turbine head on our boot and the ingrained sand and Border Terrier hair , it lifted both out with ease. ( 20 plate Toyota prius plus). Also used the orange pet block.
I was thinking of starting mobile valeting for over a year now. I love cars, love to watch them, clean them, know things about them. I do my Oil/brake Change and some minor jobs myself. The only thing is that there are some bigger companies that are on the market for a long time. I'm from a small twon in Oxfordshire and don't think I can comepete with the other car detailers.
I just found by focusing on your own bits instead of other businesses it made me get better momentum. If you have a personal touch then that will guide you far. It's all about the personality and service
I've tried a few of these but always go back to the Dyson first. Give the mini motorhead attachment ago if you have one, it will get 90% if not all of the hair in one pass on flat surfaces!
I like to use cheep silicone squeeges (same issue as the block it will breakdown but they are typically black silicone so can’t see them in black carpet)
I use one from the Martian cox brand it has 1” rubber bristles it’s great I use it mainly around the home especially on the sofas as I have two cats and they shed hair like no tomorrow.
Having 2 Staffies , their hair was a complete pain to remove as it really worked it’s way into carpet / seat fabric. Solution - I brought a van! Now minimal hair gets into the cab, and saves all that grief 🤣🤣
Thanks for the video Dave. Funnily enough I need to remove dog hairs from my car's interior so the video was just what I needed to watch. Never thought about using a pumice stone before but will definitely give that a try tomorrow. Thanks again 👍.
Great interesting video dave, never realy had great results with the pet block, maxshine tool looks good to try,. Also got a lab and she seems to always leaves hair on the seat,(but i would never stop her getting in car🐾😂.
Few months ago I bought a car , apparently the previous owner has a dog and dealer just flipped mates to cover dirt. It's full of hair in the back it makes me irritated. When I was buying the car I didn't see a thing coz I was excited. Now I can't handle seeing hair in the car.
Rookie mistake is not to inspect car fully sadly. Luckily it’s not an unsolvable problem and perhaps one less customer for the dealer you purchased from
Hi Dave once again another great video look forward to your car detailing your videos Just wondering in your opinion what is a great interior cleaner plastic rubber and leather and seats Andy
anything can remove surface hair.. but once the small hairs get filteret into the fabric .. its gonna be a problem no matter what tool or trick you use. We need something that can DISVOLVE the hair but not ruin the clothes.,
@@chadjohnson7544 it’s not cheap its like almost 300 total with hair removal….. the hair is really the only issue I don’t need an actual detail but they don’t do just hair removal obviously
The key is to never allow your pets into a car you care about. I keep my '93 Corolla wagon on life support as a dog car. I would sooner loan my newer cars to a drunken teenager than let my dogs into them.
Yeah that’s exactly what everyone has these days, an uncared for car purely for dog use. I’d be surprised if anyone is allowed in your car with that kind of comment. At the end of the day, if you clean it often and have boot protection kits, it’s so much less of a hassle and all pets are welcome at any point…
The pumice stone you are demonstrating is a cheap imitation of this one made in China. Fur-Zoff is made in America in the last 10 times longer than the one you're demonstrating.ua-cam.com/video/DdeGnc7n_cw/v-deo.html
A slightly damp hand works better than anything I have ever tried, and I have tried it all.. Rub your shoes on a carpet, use your damn hands on fabrics, vacuum the rest. Thank me later.

@@epicautomotivedetailing seriously the fur viking is way better than any of those you tested. Buy one and video the results and link to it and you might earn a few quid. 3M applicator squeegee are fairly good at removing pet hair, cost about 7 quid
I use a Stanley blade on its own and comb a area with the Hoover in the other hand. Cheap and effective.
Great video buddy and a pleasure to watch. Your enthusiasm and honesty brings great content. Good times.

Some hoovers have good attachments that roll & suck or you can just put the whole hoover head in for the larger areas.
Yeah I got a Henry brush head that works quite well 👌
Good video, as always, Dave. Drill attachments along with a good APC and my new toy, the furviking.
Thank you

Thank you so much! You just saved me a ton of work! Who would have thought rubber gloves?!? Brilliant!!!

Great video Dave, and helpful and informative
Thanks Nigel
Brilliant video Dave,a range of removal tools for pet hair I would probably keep the car pet brush for lines lol.always handy to know.
Thanks Steven
Would storing the pet hair block in a tub filled with silicone lubricant keep it from drying out?
It would but then I can't imagine anyone doing that really. Some do last slightly longer. Depends how n brand

Solution - I brought a van! Now minimal hair gets into the cab, and saves all that grief 🤣🤣
Lol yes mate that's the best solution 😀
Another fantastic and informative video Dave
Thanks Mark 👌
You wanna try a fur Viking! I’ve found them to be the best for me
I use the Fur-EEL. Works with my Rigid.
Great tip 👌
Great video. Very well produced and GREAT audio quality. I use the Lilly brush myself. I also have an Analan brush.
Thanks mate appreciate the kind words
You can reverse that pumice damage with a butane torch
Lilly Brush - worth the money !
It's a bit old school but I always used a damp chamois leather.
Never tried that one but will now
What’s the best way to get short Doberman hair out of a headliner.

Use Monsia silk PRO series IPL laser hair remover, it is amazing!!! 😊
Great update
Thank you 🙏
What about chem sponge?
Hi Hubby has managed to get paint on the interior of my car. Fabric Seat and plastic. It has dried! Any suggestions
Bilt hamber surfex HD at 10 % solution usually works as long at paint not oil based. Safe on fabric and plastic
Great advice 👍

Pet hear got behind the centre rear brake light. On my saloon car I have no idea how it got there or how to remove it. 0:16

Darn. I came here looking for an easy solution but it really doesn't look like there is any miracle device.
sadly not. so many factors like type of fabric, type of tool, user patience all play a part
😊
The key is to never allow your pets into a car you care about. I keep my '93 Corolla wagon on life support as a dog car. I would sooner loan my newer cars to a drunken teenager than let my dogs into them.
That's true but for people without extra cars and need to take them to the vet or for car detailers it's still pretty helful
Yawn. Extra cars aren't common. Unhelpful comment.

Why would you scratch your own interior
Because it's just an old car that sadly is in the scrap yard
Before you start get your leaf blower out with all doors opened. Lol It will cut your work! It will blow out all hair that isn’t stuck! Your welcome!
