A four minute film showing Rodney speaking at IBMT annual commemoration, speaking about his early life and his mother's scrapbook and speaking, again at an annual commemoration about carrying the torch from history - we have to carry the message forward, the torch has to go on... Rodney Bickerstaffe 1945 - 2017.
Writing in 2014, Bickerstaffe said: ‘It’s vital that future generations learn the lessons of what happened in Spain and know about the sacrifice of so many decent people in the cause of freedom, social justice and democracy - a struggle that continues to this day.’
