You should keep it as natural as possible. It depents on what time of the year and the specific situation. If you call near there den us an single jackal call half n minute.....if they answer you answer them back with an answ call.....keep quiet for 3 to 5 minutes then play an food call like n rabbit or so to keep the attention on the caller
