- When I was a toddler, I remember waking up and going to sleep with classical music playing throughout the house. Even though I ended up gravitating towards rock, I do have to let it out of my system once in a blue moon. :) Composition credit to cliffdrummer97, with thanks.
i can't say i listened to much classical as a child, but i do have a classical itch from time to time. thanks for scratching it.
Get those itches too. In addition to rockers playing classical, there is also its flip side: classically trained playing rock (i.e. Apocalyptica). So much to enjoy. ^_^
indeed!
I am getting ready to add some additional drum covers this week. They will tribute classically trained musicians who use their instruments to play ROCK. :) Sorry for their tardiness too. I've been VERY busy working on a couple of other projects that are very important to me: 1) creating a good start at the audio recording class that I am taking at CSN, and; 2) familiarizing myself with a new addition to the family, Suzi. :)
Great drumming... 👏👏👏👏👏
This piece requires master-level arranging and skill.
such a talent 👍
Beautiful cover Devikah !
Thank you for your thoughtful comment. :)
Pour moi la meilleure batteuse au monde ! ! Tellement polyvalente ! ! Un vrai régale ^^ les miss sont vraiment à découvrir et dépasse bon nombre de gars. Ça fais plaisir à voir
This is actually a good combo of adding drums to Vivaldi, and you've done well.
astonishing
awesome.
hummmmmmmm interesting setup : )
Hi, Herbie. Thanks for dropping by. I first had to decide which sounds I wanted to create when. Then set everything up for ease of transition. Funny how different genres beg for different setups, eh? :)
very trew, couldve sworn i ran a simuilar iidea by ya : ) shift um so ya ride is where R2 is.....kind of cool too
and.....sometimes load in and outs without a "tech" make ya wanna be "Herbie on the drumm" or "Devikah on the drumm
WoW! the first time I've heard a raw drum sound mixed in classical music...Interesting indeed..
I agree, GL40. Interesting indeed. :)

It would be so hard for me, to figure out the compositions that match to it.. How many possibilities are there ?
Musicians in an orchestra have sheet music, written by a composer, to play by. I was lucky to find another drummer who composed a drum set version for this and the Orpheus piece. He became my "sheet music" for my playing of both pieces. :)
Devikah I see,. So, how long did it took you and memorized and master it from beginning to end..? And will you ever figured it out even without music cheats or any help besides you own abilities anyway? That would be a naturally super talented if you could really!
I've only been playing drums for 3 years as of this month, and I have SO much more to learn before I try my hand at composing complete pieces. To be honest, I want to bring my technical skills to a much higher level before I even consider that. There are so many talented drummers for me to learn from, and I don't ever want to stop learning from them. To use an example, Anika Nilles is someone that I have the highest respect for. She is technically brilliant and a great composer as well. I'll be ecstatic if I can come close to just her technical drumming abilities. :)
Я просто плачу! Это велеколепно!!
This reminds me of Stratovarius. I love it.
🔥🔥🔥
I'm sure the "red-haired priest" would have been proud and absolutely satisfied if he had been able to hear it. Great, indeed.
+Jermann Vivaldi was an interesting person. He taught musicianship to girls at an orphanage where he was a priest. They had a pretty renowned orchestra because of Vivaldi's involvement. ^_^
Yes, this and his music shows that he was very modern (to compare with - for example - Bach) in his age. Hi was ahead of his time. Like Mozart, I think.
so good, can we have the part please
cool
is difficult to make a drums cover--------I did a Mozart cover one day ...it was terrific!! :)
I would love to see it. ^_^
And in France, there is a 16 years young (soon to be my age) girl who pays tribute to Vivaldi with another rock instrument: ua-cam.com/video/DIGfO2Dgc9Y/v-deo.html . Respect to you, Tina. :)
The only thing that's driving me crazy is that cymbal on the left it sounds like a sample cymbal , if it were an aax explosion crash it would be alot more brash but no so uniform. Other wise a great interpretation w a raw kit. Nice foot work.

... Brava. Ma certi brani li devi suonare ancora più forte! ... interpretando la furia della natura e dei 'giusti'.
