I'm a notorious punk rocker ,yet I just LOVE this woman and this song
Who hasn't loved her since the moment they first heard that voice? Her piano melodies are catchy and relatively simple, but they lay the foundation for her vocals, which are nothing short of superb. She conveys emotion effortlessly. It's almost unfair how natural it is for her. This London concert is particularly outstanding top to bottom.
I love this part. When you've just heard an artist here and there but not really listened to them.
After this performance I can't stop checking out the rest of her music. I feel like I've been living under a rock not listening to Regina Spektor all this time.

We never find them until we die and are at peace. At this time, people finally know you were meaningful and remember you. Once you realize that the world can be evil you can find happiness in the little things like bubble gum and photographs while you still have time. The song is telling us to enjoy our lives.
Despite everything that happens, and everything we see and hear on the news, there are always good things happening too. Even if it is just the smallest thing that makes a person smile even for a second then it was worth doing.

I'm even more impressed with her piano skills than her voice, and that says a lot about her piano skills haha. When I try to play a song like this I look like an idiot trying to to move my fingers around lol.

While she is a wonderful pianist, this song involves just a lot of repetition of the same sequences. :) It sounds impressive because it's fast I reckon.

Russia is not in Asia, Russia is partly in Europe and partly in Asia because the natural border between Asia and Europe is Ural Mountains, which are in Russia. So, Regina was born in EUROPE because she was born in MOSCOW, and Moscow is in EUROPEAN part of Russia:)

Russia belongs to Europe partly. The part of Russia which is situated to the west from the Urals is European. European part of Russia is smaller by the territory, but a lot more populated ( of course, not many people live in Siberia lol) and almost all important big cities in Russia are situated in the European part : Moscow, St Petersburg, Kazan, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi and etc ( except for Novosibirsk, which is in Siberia, it's the Asian part).
