- Mega Rayquaza is in raids in Pokemon Go in less than one month with a make up event due to an issue experienced by many people during the Elite Raid day. This was how the event went for us in Buffalo, New York.

I used mine in articuno but after missing a hundo ray I got a 96 shiny ray right after. I'd much rather have that imo.
There is still the looming presence of shadow Rayquaza. ATM the only type in which Rayquaza is top tier outside of its mega is flying type if you use a meteorite, and you only have limited supplies of them. So it makes sense to have one meteorite for your mega and keep the rest for shadow Ray in the future, and therefore none for an extra hundo Ray.

I had…. THE MOST AMAZING TIME raiding with Brandon, Princess and everyone from Buffalo. I really do hope you had fun Brandon & Princess! My daughter Hana and I are so overjoyed to have met you and that you were so fun, kind and down to earth! Hana talked about how she showed you her Popplio’s trick all night long! And even though the meetup was a day before her birthday, she was already saying that it was her favorite birthday present lol. This was definitely an experience of a lifetime, THANK YOU!

About 80-90 raids, 3 hours, 7 shinies, 2x 98%, 10 fled, $100 spent, 1 Shundo Ray. Wouldnt have been worth it if the Shundo didn't pop up in the last hour. 1st Shundo Legendary.
Man that's actually lucky. I've done 250+ raids forget shundo I don't even have a hundo. I refuse to max my rayquaza until I found a shundo.
How many of the raids were in person? There was not enough time to clear more than 10 per hour with a decent sized raid party. It was an improvement but not as exciting as I anticipated.

@@chaosdragun1608 Did like 60 remotes passes on both days on 2 accounts, the rest with premium raid passes. Gotta play with 2 accounts because not enough players in rural areas.

With phones, tablets and other electronics. If ever get wet, don't use rice to dry them out. Might it work, yes but it can cause corrosion and damage that will shorten the lifespan of the device.

Also iPhones and iPads for some reason lately require being rebooted to charge. My work phone will be fine for weeks then requires reboot to charge (started like 2 months ago)

got like 47 raids and 5 fled
2% catch rate for rayquaza. With gold razz and excellent modifier, brings it up only up to 18%. I also had 3 flee even after countless excellents. At least I caught my Hundo tho
Report from Sweden/Kristianstad I got a Shundo and a Hundo Back to Back. Someone calculated the probabilty for that about 1/400 000. Istill two days after can not grasp what happend!
31 raids one hundo no shiny. I remote raided and when I completed the raid my game crashed. Then my friend got a shiny and niantic wouldn’t give me my remote raid pass back.
Niantic hasn't been refunding passes anymore

Would of loved a shiny but i only could afford 9 raids remotely , i got a 98% and all my energy so im super happy with that
Its really sad that there are still so many players in my town but nobody is really interested in touching grass , people would rather spend a lot of money than get a group of trainers together

Am I do only one who feels like they tuned down shiny chances from raids by A LOT? Like, there used to be times when I did 20 legendary raids and got like 3 shinies. Now I can do 30 and only get 1 shiny. DOn't know if I like it or not :D It is nice being it more rare, but you also need to spend way more money if you are shiny hunting :D
On Mega Lucario raid day I did 21 raids without getting a shiny. Yesterday I got a shiny Rayquaza on the first raid. You win some, you loose some. :)
Nope, it felt like it for me during Lucario day (I got 2 shinies after 35 raids). But the rate was indeed 1/10, because the other people in my group would get shinies everywhere. One person even got three consecutively. So I just had incredibly poor luck.
I had much better luck during this Ray Day though. 26 raids, 4 shinies (one of which was a 98%), a hundo, a 96 and a few 93's. I will never have that kinda luck again. During the original event, I got one 98 and one shiny after 20+ raids. And that was it.
Like Brickery says, you win some, you lose some. It takes insane luck to get a W during every single event in Pokemon Go, and it's low-key dangerous to go into a raid day, expecting to get the best of the best every single time, when it's entirely chance-based.
I'm just happy Niantic listened for once and tried to make up for a poorly thought-out/executed event.

Hi, we from New Zealand got ripped off by Niantic again. The Rayquaza raids drop very little XP candle and the shiny rate was horrible. The later timezone from remote raids seem to drop much more XL candy and have better shiny odds.
I did 79 raids and got no shiny, no hundo. Im so mad

@@pablo3995 It's not like I didn't make an effort to do those raids. I live in a small village. I travelled an hour by train to the city to meet up with people there and raid. And besides I also did 40 remote raids

Niantic earned much more money than the original event in this “make up event that should not have happened”

@Lantheoneandonly It really disappoints me how so many people are still complaining. I mean..guys? This was a makeup event, it was no official raid day! We can appreciate it soo much that Niantic even listened this time and actually did something. Niantic is currently really trying to make up for their mistakes, and we should be grateful instead of keep yelling. I believe that was the reason Rayquaza was an elite raid in the first place. People were crying about how expensive remote raids are, so niantic found a solution and disabled them.

I would never use my Masterball on a Galarian Bird. I save them for exactly the hundo Ray situation that person was in, for sure

The couple w the Hundo Rayquaza were so cute...on the verge of fighting because of the tension. I really feel that. It's a hard decision to use the Masterball. I used my last one on a cp2895 Galarian Zaptos about a week ago. Ended up being a 0☆ and now I have buyer's remorse. Gonna probably end up lucky trading it one of these days. Oh well...

Could only do 2 raids with remote raid pass cause I was busy at the day and didn’t have anymore, one fled and the other one had 2146 Cp. at least it was my first Rayquaza ever so I’m happy!! 😁😁

My first time doing an elite raid after not playing for seven years I got a hundo Rayquaza. To say I got excited is an understatement
The shiny chances are just a joke. Last time I got 2 shinies in 7 Lucario raids, but today not a single shiny out of close to 30 Rayquaza raids 🤦🏻♂️

The Mega Rayquaza Raid Hours Day went great! The makeup from Niantic is a good choice. I did 11 Mega Rayquaza Raids and got 1 Rare Candy XL, 27 Rayquaza XL Candy, 117,000 XP, caught 10 Rayquaza, got one shiny ✨, and got about 780 Mega Energy along with one Rayquaza holding a meteorite. I think overall, this makeup event is a great choice by Niantic!😊

I got a lucky 100% full odds Rayquaza about 2 weeks ago and it's now level 48 working towards level 50. It's also going to be my fifth maxed out Rayquaza but my only 100%.
I've got 1 shiny out of 1 raids. I was distracted because I was in a Bus. Only had 8 balls and throw the first one really bad but it landed and I just got the shiny. I am super lucky

You will not believe what I got on the first try on Rayquaza I got a shiny Rayquaza on the first Rayquaza Raid and it went to my Pokédex
Thus was the best event ive ever done, i got 3 shinies. One on my first raid anf then on my fith and then my seventh. This is only good for me because i live in a small town with only two gyms.

I don't understand how they managed to get so many raids. This was my first time and I had 4 gyms where Rayquaza spawned. All at the same time and with the same timernleft. I only managed to do one at 1 p.m. and one at 6 p.m., which people didn't all ready up for so wenwere only 4 people and failed :(
