@@timschmidt3383 I think you're spot on with that window. With that full metal build on these, I'd say they're going to be a little on the pricier side.
I'm hoping to see some kind of system in their app to start recording in transmitters that are armed to do so. And the cherry on top would be if it could trigger or be triggered by the Sound Devices Wingman app.
The previous version had issues using Sandisk Micro SD cards (only Kingston and Samsung Micro SD cards worked fine). Is this the same issue for this new unit?
I am loving this. This can be my 2nd Lav kit for smaller gigs. I currently use the AVX system but I need a backup kit. Update: After y'all's feedback I may order 2 of these and make them my main setup.
@@DanielBasulto it may get complicated as AVX system has a slight latency, your recorder should have compensation for it. UHF usually has no delay, but prone to frequency issues.
@Stuart Roelke I started doing research after NAB and I agree with you all. I'm looking to update and make them my main setup. Thank you all for the feedback.
Great . Is app controll works with this system ? Probably yes But you d better mention this. Cause Sennheiser has just only now added app controll and talks about it a lot ... Do it can be interesting to compare this one to Sennheiser. On the same nab 2023. New plug-on that also a recorder . But I m not sure what bit depth it use . And what powering options it have. USB-C powering here is a big deal and very handy . Audio-out /headphones port is very important too Thanks for report
Great idea, I love what Deity are doing, making high quality pro gear, but those aerials look massive, and totally a pain to wear the transmitter. Pricing will be interesting, but with other manufacturers making tiny transmitters (rode, sennheiser, and picogear to name just 3) I doubt if the extra cost to performance to size ratio will warrant the investment.
I immediately thought the same thing with the length of those aerials. Feels like a client or talent might snap them / catch them on something a lot easier and cause damage. SUCH A SHAME they're not shipping til ie August+ etc. I need to replace my lav kits now!! (and preferably PRE EOFY!!!)😩
They do have 32-bit float recording. Yeah audio interference in an IV about this kind of gear.. albeit not Deity's being used but it's unfortunate it's there
This was going to be my question too. Is this licensed or does the internal recording only work when the unit isn’t transmitting, or unlocked in a future firmware update (when the patent expires in a few years afaik?)
@@martin_wood I wonder since they’re already talking about unlocking frequencies based on region if they will also allow the recording to function in countries where the patent isn’t enforceable…
Can't wait to buy these!
Right there with ya! Take my money!
@@loneghostmedia how much will they be? figure at a min $600 with a max of $1200?

The last transmitters were discontinued while sitting in my shopping cart.. I'm looking forward to seeing these first hand

That would be great if the menu screen reciever is placing on the top side
Great journalistm Erik.

I think these are more advanced than tge avx though
@@TheReelport id definitely hope so. I want to run a side by side with my Sennheiser AVX system

Can you monitor while recording in 32bit float?
We don't know yet.
The million dollar question for me
Would love to have a 32-bit recording with the wireless. However, having interference on this videos audio isn't selling me though....
they’re not using the deities to record this video lol
😂😂 ^ I was coming to comment this

What regions will these work in?
hope the price is reasonable
These seem to be in the $600 range that the previous system landed in.
amazing devices, very well thought ecosystem. Hopefully that internal recording option won't get them in trouble with zaxxcom patents.

Yeah that patent is holding back the whole wireless audio world. Tentacle has kind of worked around it, but monitoring isn't fully capable

@@martin_woodI will never forget the terrible destiny of the Juicedlink guy...
They resolved it with the previous BP-TRX so I bet it will work with these as well.
