I have the large Kwaiken in S35VN red micarta and a gold frame. Like that Bowie knife. Boker has the best selection of knives, in my opinion. Good video, guys. Thanks
The blue "Z28" is an homage to the 1969 Camaro with the blade including some steel from Camaros, while the handle is styled after the sports car. I've been thinking of getting either that one or the Boker Tiger (made from some WWII Tiger tanks), but I'm waiting for a sales to buy it. The P51 was designed to resemble the P51 Mustang airplane and again uses some steel from those planes. The one with the green and back scales was designed to resemble the German Messerschmidt plane. I'm always interested to see what Boker offers. They have a full range - from mediocre "Made in China" crap to high end. However, I'll say that the Boker Magnum Rockstub is pretty damn good.
Boker has so many hidden gems. Not nearly as much good as there is awful, but their good is usually great. Edit: that turd made from scrap camaro is absolutely not a gem, though.
Most of those named models are damascus from historical items. There's a Panther made with steel from a WW2 GermanTank, the Sherman was made with steel from an M4 Sherman, there's an AK folder with steel from AK barrels and that Z28 is made from steel from a 1968/9 Camaro Z28.
I wonder what your takeaways from the show are so far. I am def getting the Benchmade Water series smaller fixed blade, "The Intersect", when bhq texts me that it's available.
I think when Böker names a knife model after a machine then the blade contains steel from that machine. So Tirpitz's blade contains steel from the German WW2 battleship Tirpitz.
Those Expensive folders, P51, Sherman, Z28, Terpesit. The Blade Steel is sourced from the corresponding name. Then they send it to a Bladesmith (can't remember his name) in Mississippi. Then he hand forges the Damascus Blades. Then they ship the Blades back to Germany for final assembly of the Knives. So given all that. NOT to mention the History and exclusiveness of them. IMHO NOT that terrible of a price 👍
Chad Nichols makes the Damascus blades and they are very nice. I have a Damascus Sherman (use regularly) and a Tirpitz (display only) and am very happy with both of them. I would have liked the Mustang (P51), but it was too cartoonish looking and expensive for a Taiwan made Boker Plus.
Most of the knives you've held in your hand with damascus blades are models with steel from World War II tanks and planes. Too bad Boker didn't pay more attention to it...🤦
I'm really glad you all showcased Boker, that blue z28 was modeled after a camaro
Whoa Boker $$$ some beauties. Good thing I buy budget knives 😂

There are so many knives, so hard to pick just one 😮
Do they still make lock backs?

Have you guys visited the Chris Reeve booth? I've been trying to find a video of it, but I haven't seen anyone cover them yet.
We haven’t seen them yet either!!
Still more reasonable than Benchmade pricing 😂
c’mon 😂 😂
@@BirdShotIV ithink the boker should also have off-centered blades
I didn’t see enough plastic either lol
Awesome blades 👍👍🇺🇸🔪🔥
Those show prices are way more than dealer pricing.
We realize that, but these aren’t going to fall down to Kalashnikov prices…
Hey
A $1,267 knife is just sitting on the display?? What's keeping people from walking off with them? Honesty?!? 😮😂
🤔 🤔 😆 😆
Maybe all the guns and ammo everywhere! 😼 -Frankie
A race to a thousand dollars with things that look like you could get them at a carnival or in a gas station.
69 Camaro steel in the blade, blue hue like a 69 Camaro and slits like the rear fender louvers.
Facts, not making it up.
I was made in Germany😁 gotta add a German knife to my collection. Thank you for the sneak peak.

What is up with those pocket clips though 😂😂😂
You guys need to watch more UA-cam knife videos 😂
Nothing against them but we kinda stopped watching YT knife videos the more we started making vids ourselves 🤷♂️ 🤷♀️
Very expensive

Thanks for the name drop
People, the Boker Z28 is made from actual metal off a 1969 Camaro Z28! And you guys just glazed over it like it was a gas station knife!
Please see yourselves to the door!! 👉🚪😤
sorry, zero planning for this one, just walked up and started to record 😆
Wow, those are Bidenomic prices...........
