Mine doesn’t even change screens when you push buttons. The instructions are also so confusing. Mines been stuck on 7.5 v and won’t get off that screen I’ve only used it once. I’m confused af.

I shoved it in an empty cooler and then into a deep freeze that didn't work that was left outside... peace and quiet 🤣... then gave it back to my boss because he had the receipt for it (Christmas work party bonus gift things and such, lol). He took it back to Costco afterward and got a refund
I have 2 and use the heck out of the pump for sprayers. It has been flawless. The biggest problem is when going to jump a vehicle, it’s just barely enough form1 attempt.

bought my uk edition cj1000dcpuk in 2020 it has a plastic gear on the pump that would probably melt when hot could be modified to put in a metal gear would last forever then, as for mine it doesn't have enough jump capacity to jump my 2.0D volvo v50, i short circuited the pump after trying to put the pump power wire back on xD ill probably throw the 19ah battery in my sons little car
2024 this thing worked for 6 mos... stopped charging.. cycles through all the modes while plugged in.. LED>. compressor. etc.... random beeps while charging.. when unplugged from charging... the charge depletes immediately .. a complete waste of money. DO NOT BUY
Bought this for my luxury car that won’t jump with any other jumper. But this one was the most powerful out there. Used it around 20 times after which it just stopped working. No longer charges back up and the light remains at red.
Did you jack the truck up when you started pumping air into it? Trying to pump a car tire with the vehicle on the ground will burn up a portable compressor every time
@@19derrick77because a 120 psi pump doesn’t have the juice to pump a tire under a 4 to 5 thousand lb vehicle and will burn up if you’re stupid enough to try it
@@jlmorton77 go outside and check the pressure in one of your tires, now jack up that corner of the vehicle, and measure again, let me know what the difference is. I’ll bet it’s not much.
Purchased one a month ago. Charged it up and sat in my garage. Went in the garage the other day and the blue LED light to the USB plugs where on. Tried using all of the functions on the jump box and it's frozen. Can't get it to charge (not dead because the blue USB lights stuck on), no air compressor, and none of the buttons do anything. Been wondering if there is some kind of reset on it but can't seem to find one. Glad I found this out before a emergency. It's going back to costco
My air compressor gave out pretty fast, but to jump a battery is descent to have around. This product ok, but wouldn’t recommend it. Just by an air compressor on its own and a pair of jumper cables separately. Good idea but bad design flaw for the unit.
This thing was good for me until I tried inflating my truck with it. I overheated the compressor but there was not pop it just slowed down and it won’t work now.
Mine just stopped working. We had it for a couple of year and kept it charged. I tried to use the "AC" to use a small fan. There was a quick turn of the blades then nothing! I took out the battery and checked it with a tester and it was good. I looked at the circuit boards and did not find anything burned or shorted out. I put it back together, and nothing but a loud beep every few seconds.
My air pump went and did the same thing yours did and I as well left it outside far away from my house thought the damn thing was gonna blow up, unreliable piece of crap

Mine has just been going on by itself, like I'm using it to pump air in my tires... but no, it's annoyingly just turning on by itself and scaring the hell out of me at night time when I hear this God awful sound all the way in my garage. Good to know that this is a big issue with everyone and that they purchased theirs at Costco as well. My big issue with Costco and this horrible CAT product is that I only purchased mine a year ago in 2023, but yet there are comments dating back to four years ago - if not longer. So why in the world would Costco continue selling this clearly defective product - and newer versions from CATERPILLAR - going on for years now selling them in their stores, when Costco should've completely banned these defective Caterpillar products from their stores??? Someone at Costco is trying to financially take care - hook up someone or many somebodys at Caterpillar Inc.

I may have missed it, but what equipment did you get to replace the functionality of this device❓ My problem is with the compressor, but not the same exact problem. Still doesn’t work for me. Hit and miss pumping and I doesn’t always display the right pressure.
Hi do you know if it matters which direction the female end of cord is connected to the device? The cable seems like it’s made so only fit one way. However on the device the prongs are the same size. I don’t want to mess up the device. I hope that makes sense Thank you
Look on the side of the device. There's a black cover you can pull off to charge your battery. There you will see the male end of the electrical cable.

Has anyone had trouble with the jumper cable Alarm going off I've had this unit for a few weeks now and today I plugged in a all boombox to play music and on the screen it said I had the jumper cables on backwards but the turn knob is in off position still won't shut up. Any ideas? I didn't need to jump aNy battery to begin with.

Ours won't stop beeping. It just randomly went off. It's saying that the polarity was crossed but nobody used it 🤷

My ac outlet has a fault on it, and there are no instructions on how to clear it. Any help?

Same mine just did this. Used it maybe a handful of times. Piece of crap. Returning it to Costco asap.
I'm on my second one. The first one's air compressor died. The second one is stuck in the air compressor mode, and will not switch into other mode or turn off and the compressor won't start. Fully charged piece of junk with no re-set button anyway.
Mine never turns off. Takes 3 days to charge. Then dies in one day because the display never turns off!
Mine couldn't even inflate one tire to 80 psi before it started smoking

also the piston and the con rods in the pump are made of plastic so shouldnt last long

You are over heating it. You are not suppose to inflate multiple tires at a single use. Read the instructions.

How we trun off the screen? It stays on, while system is not in use, and eventually drains the system.

Press the AC power button. Then press it again when the battery level shows.
piston arm on the piston is broken. Replaced with a homemade arm, works fine.

Look on the side of the device. There's a black cover you can pull off to charge your battery. There you will see the male end of the electrical cable.
It dosen't matter its AC voltage the device will charge at any position on the prongs.
Try the new version of the Stanley jump it. Please!...lol
I will have to check that out. Hopefully it will make i through airing up a few more tires.
