I need your thought on something...PLEASE! I have a 445 havoc with your no mover build talents. And decent weapon and trinkets. I feel like i play pretty well have a 3150io main S2 And my aoe is amazing but single target on a training dummy im about 70k dps... and about the same in mythic boss fights WHAT GIVES? I've watched tons of guides im sure my start weight is off some bit it makes me want to switch dps but i love the dh... I usually avg about 100k dps on fort weeks maybe 85 on tryan
single target build revolves in S2 about spending as much fury as possible. I practiced and practiced hours and hours on the training dummies and figures some things. However i shall not advice on s2 as now shattered destiny is really nerfed. However, in S3 to maximize your single target DPs, You have 3 choices. You either go no mover, inertia or momentum ST. To maximize DPS on no mover build, you spend as much anhilation as you can and felblade as soon as it comes back up. You only use ragefire only as fury generation and sigil on CD. The point of no mover is not thinking about momentum, inertia or initiative you just pres anhilations and balde dance on cd thats it pretty much. You rarely ever throw glaive cuase it is done automatically cause of tier set. There will be times where youre stuck with no fury and you also need to gather the purple soul orbs that you drop when using anhilation as they gave fury. If you stand still i found out that its more difficult to gather them, but if you tap A and D by moving, you have like a recovery area which seems more wider. In conclussion: -Spam chaos strike, Anhilation for fury and reducing eye beam for demonic up time. -Gather souls as you see them - Spam felblade if fury is below 50 -Use Sigil on CD and imo aura for fury only if you dont have felblade or sigil. With these tips you should have your dmg increased. To maximize damage with momentum build, you use your dashes to maintain uptime. With your tier set and how often you cna have the hunt, you can permanenttly, if not, increase the uptime of momentum. You still priortize Using anhilation but you value more your essence break initiative windows more. You would like to use initiative VIA vengeful retreat to: - Empower crti chance procs for hunt which empowers know your enemy crit damage - Essence break windows. You want to line up VR with your essence break windows. Every Essence break you can use 2 VR for fury generation and Initiative. With this build, you gain even more fury as you have access to Vengeful retreat fury generation. To maximize damage with intertia build, you use your dashes to use your burst windows. U must ONLY use inertia for the following moments: - Empower essence break and meta windows. - Empower blade dance and the hunt (if you can line them up with initiative crit chance bonus, the better) Other than those scenarios you would want to hold your unbound chaos for prcoing inertia as you can wait until 12 seconds before activating ienrtia Via UBC. You still anhilate but priortize more throwing dots like soulscar, Sigil, Hunt and procing chaotic disposition for damage.
