This is the way education should be! Thanks for the outstanding lecture. Far better than dozens of pages trying to explain things we have never seen on Earth.
Thank you so much Ma'am.It extensively worked for me.I was so confused about these concepts. Now I can easily find out these landscapes in practical world.God bless you!
Good video. I'm trying to recreate these shapes on a digital landscape, and need all the info I can get. My early attempts are on my channel. Mostly I've taken into account water droplets and rivers cutting through, but I still need something more drastic for landscapes like Yosemite and the Grand Canyon.
Hi great video. I'm intrigued to know how this was done? Was it via a graphics tablet? If so can the tablet record the presentation in real-time? Many thanks Alexis
in french "arête" means "edge" (also "fishbone"), you are confusing with the verb "arrêter" who means "to stop". I forgive you, because you have a sexy voice
Thank you Wendy for this succinct and easily digestible presentation. I also compliment you on your knowledge of the meaning of "paternoster" and it's association with the Rosary. Now, just one little point of contention concerning aretes. From my scant knowledge of French the word "stop" in French is spelled "arrete" - two r's as opposed to "arete" (accent over the middle e) translating roughly to "fish bone" - a description of the abrupt cutting edge of these ridges. Mere academia perhaps but is one more correct than the other?
This has to be one of the best explanations of glacial landforms available on UA-cam in one place.
the educator made lovely presentation and has sweet and nurturing voice ... the two which i never found in my entire life
Like really??
This is the way education should be! Thanks for the outstanding lecture.
Far better than dozens of pages trying to explain things we have never seen on Earth.
Thank You! Really great and engaging narration. Seems like she is very passionate about the subject she teaches.
Glaciation is so coarse but your voice/delivery are so smooth. Brilliant.

Beautifully explained,I was having hard time to grasp these glacier erosional landforms merely by books.🙏🙏
In spite of negative comments, we all appreciate a basic explanation of the glacier landscape. Especially those of us who are self-teaching geology.

Very clear, I feel like I tackle any scientific article regarding glaciology now! Greetings from glacial studies in Chile

The Most Interesting Woman in the World.
I don't always make videos on Smartboards, but when I do, I leave in the marker sound.
Good video. I'm trying to recreate these shapes on a digital landscape, and need all the info I can get. My early attempts are on my channel. thanks so much for this! I need to re-create some terrain from Scotland in 3D and this helps a lot
god. this lady makes me feel like im in 3rd grade again.
Great video. Thanks!
Most of the ocean height is caused by thermal expansion rather than melt. There isn't enough ice even in an ice age. Oceans are massive.
Hi great video. I'm intrigued to know how this was done? Was it via a graphics tablet? If so can the tablet record the presentation in real-time? Many thanks Alexis
mam can you also add moraine, eskers, outwash plains, drumlins
Thank you so much, this has really helped! And your voice is so nice to listen to! :D
Finally, a useful video on glacial erosion.

Really its a great one maam..:)::) Thanks a lot..:):) And can yu explain wat s actually Col, Truncated spur and as well hanging valley..????
I suspect that this is in fact an incredibly subtle parody of geology videos. It's the only thing that makes sense to me.
thank you. An amazing lesson. 👍
this video and her voice ruined my day
someone cut the voice and put text in that pertains to whats going on instead of "my lovely hiking boots"
Simply great! Thank you!
those are lovely hiking boots
Really good and informative. But the sound of marker ...
Lovely Lecture !
Enjoyed it to to the Peak :-)
Could we ask some Questions ?

Exactly. In geometry , arête is french for edge, that's the line where two planes intersect.
What is aretes and horn
excellent. ..
... I was so very blessed with this video.... awesome. . :)
This is just delightful

I literally cant watch these because of that..

John Madden called, he wants his video pen back.
Thanks..very informative
Thank you!
IF you search up ice age on UA-cam, National Geographic had copied the illustrations of the glacial part and used it in their video lol
The last glacial maximum was not 11,000 years ago
***** That's just not true. Nearly all ice sheets were at their LGM positions from 26.5 ka to 19 to 20 ka.
Thanks, very informative
Wile writing the sound will disturb us
best video ever
Thanks very helpful..
