Building in Ghana: Episode 21_Windows Design and Burglar Proof Installation

- This channel describes how we re-purposed an old bungalow into 3 dwelling units or apartments.
In Episode 21, we bring to you the design of the external windows of the outhouse and security post by Ebenco Building Design Expert. In addition, we give you the dressing of the inner walls of the windows and the installation of the burglar proof the outhouse and security post by Mr. Paul Yaw Antwi.
Upon completion:
(a) The bungalow will be converted into three (3) separate dwelling units; one 2.5BHK, one 2BHK and one 1BHK
(B=Bedroom, H=Hall/Living room, K=Kitchen; each bedroom will have an en-suite washroom).
(b) The outhouse will consist of:
(1) Ground floor-Bedroom with an en-suite washroom and a single car garage,
(2) First floor- 1BHK and a guest washroom.
(3) Secured stair well at the end of the building.
(c) A security post with its own washroom

Hi Eddie, the total cost for labour for 16 windows was GHS 4000. This gives the average cost per window to be GHS 250. Yes Ebenezer is based in Kumasi but he will take jobs anywhere in Ghana or Nigeria. Thank you for subscribing to our channel.

Negotiate better than my rate because of the large number of windows. Tell Eben to be considerate so that he can get other referrals. Hopefully you can reach an acceptable rate. If not, I can give him a call if needed.
