- One of apparently 12 or less made of these Voltron 3rd Dimension Dracotron (Plastic) Prototypes, as a Tooling Early Production (EP) Prototype in black & chrome, that TRENDMASTERS had made in 1999, but never saw a release due to the lagging sales of the toy line. The prototypes always use far superior paint for Trade Shows, so there is absolutely no flaking whatsoever, evident on this unique prototype. Whereas many of the retail figures that were painted chrome, did see a lot of flaking even if they were never phyiscally handled, while still sealed in their packaging. Makes this prototype that much more beautiful.
Awesome looking prototype.
i wish they had this series on dvd.
I wish they would try brining back Dracotron
Where did you finally find one of these, and was this character ever featured in the cartoon at all? Never heard of this til today!
I have had 2 different Protos of these in less then 3 yrs and I have lots of contacts. And yes, Dracotron DID appear in the Voltron 3rd Dimension TV show.
Dracotron was featured in two episodes of Voltron: The Third Dimension.
HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET YOUR HANDS ON THIS!?!?
I've picked up two different ones over the past 3 yrs actually. Perseverance is always my answer for questions like this. If you want to see a bunch of cool photos of BOTH of them, do a search in Google under Trendmasters Prototypes Dracotron and you'll see a number of photos from my Flickr pages. Great shot of the two of them side by side!! ;)
@@shytoons so u make ur toys and play with them? Not to be rude
@@HIZZYHUZZAH What?? This is an authentic Prototype. That's all you need to know.
@@shytoons oh lol
@@shytoons might buy one of ur doom island figures
Did you used to work for Trendmasters before they closed down in 2002?
Nope.
@@shytoons Where did you get this?
@@StevenDolce What does that matter??
would you ve willing to make re-casts of these and sell them?
Sorry no, I won't do that. I know it looks like an extremely selfish thing not to agree to, but I am strong believer that it would literally destroy the value of these rare Prototypes, considering the difficulty in tracking one of these down as is... Sorry.
Thats fair, thanks.
Any interest in selling it?
@@vincentincognoli8470 Long gone already, sorry. Both of them actually.
