hi Alison, the ancient vedic books say to count the 4th house from Ascendant, but they were using only whole sign system which usuly corresponds to the unequal always in India cause they r closer to the Equator so the distortion does not happen like in other northern countries. But the unequal IC (4th house cusp) is very strong too. In many Westerners the 4th house cusp can be in a different sign than the 4th sign from Ascendant. Check both-i have seen that both work. From thw ascendant-it shows the 4th house things and their psycr relationship to you (ascendant). The house cusp shows the actual 4th things-home, emotions, hormones and reactions produced by emotions, etc. If u have a good planet in the 4th sign but a bad one in the 4th house cusp, there will be a mixed influence

Wow Lada... I've been following your videos recently more than ever, and we have a lot of the same aspects or energy themes lol. So true about Moon and Rahu. I have this in an exact square. I rarely communicate my emotions unless forced to do so, because I feel like no one cares or it serves no purpose. The world feels like a cold, cruel place that will continue turning (Saturn also squares my Moon & conjuncts Rahu) whether or not I stop to express myself. Interestingly though I also have Moon in exact trine to Mercury which is supposed to be a booster card for me lol... I'm surprised you didn't mention moon in relationship with Pluto. I have this aspect and from my personal experience and research this is the most painful moon aspect. However as you mentioned after age 36-36 maturity has kicked in and I'm much better explaining and understanding the world of emotions.

Ketu and Rahu on the axis of 1st and 7th are always tough for relationships(20)% of humans have this and are very sensitive in interpersonal relationships--relationships are more karmic for them--Rahu in 7th has not done relationships in past lives much--they have focused on self and other things hence fear of commitment in this life(fear of the unknown), but you have a good capacity for relationships overall so you should start trying. Rahu in 7th needs to try its hand at relationships because it is the fastest path for growth for you in this life time, even if it might not be the easiest. You will do better with foreign partners or such who are somehow different culturally or status wise than you. Rahu in 7th house gives better relationships from 35 onwards when the person has tried a few relationships and has learnt how to do these.

That Chiron is in a grand square, opposing Neptune, Saturn and Uranus in the 4th, and squaring Venus in the 1st and Mars in the 7th. So... Venus and Mars are opposing each other and squaring the guys in 4th too. In here, the Moon just opposes Neptune.

Lada, at the end of the video you mention to check the Ascendent/1st house and then you say both to check the 4th house and the 4th sign from the ascendant. Is it both? Or do we just count the signs forward like you said to do with the moon in the beginning of the video so if Ascendent was Aries we'd look at anything in Cancer? Sorry, just a little confusing! Tx :)
hi Alison, the ancient vedic books say to count the 4th house from Ascendant, but they were using only whole sign system which usuly corresponds to the unequal always in India cause they r closer to the Equator so the distortion does not happen like in other northern countries. But the unequal IC (4th house cusp) is very strong too. In many Westerners the 4th house cusp can be in a different sign than the 4th sign from Ascendant. Check both-i have seen that both work. From thw ascendant-it shows the 4th house things and their psycr relationship to you (ascendant). The house cusp shows the actual 4th things-home, emotions, hormones and reactions produced by emotions, etc. If u have a good planet in the 4th sign but a bad one in the 4th house cusp, there will be a mixed influence

i have moon 0 degrees conjunct saturn in scorpio, and ketu at about 7 degrees distance from them, also in scorpio, and what you said about these aspects totally applies to me (except for the fact that did receive love from both of my parents). i was never able to open to someone completely, and could never get rid of some kind of susceptibility towards anyone i met - the guys that i liked, even though they seemed to like me at first, gave it up and decided to leave the relationship without any apparent reason.
anyway, now that i'm 30, maybe things will change for the better, and i'll manage to gain the confidence that i need :)

Wow Lada... I've been following your videos recently more than ever, and we have a lot of the same aspects or energy themes lol. So true about Moon and Rahu. I have this in an exact square. I rarely communicate my emotions unless forced to do so, because I feel like no one cares or it serves no purpose. The world feels like a cold, cruel place that will continue turning (Saturn also squares my Moon & conjuncts Rahu) whether or not I stop to express myself. Interestingly though I also have Moon in exact trine to Mercury which is supposed to be a booster card for me lol... Unfortunately this tends to manifest the most when I explode with anger (Aries Moon) after I've suppressed my emotions so much!

I have my Moon in the 9th and Mercury and Venus in the 12th, though Rahu in the 1st. I've always had it very easy with relationships of all kinds, but often I feel that others attach themselves to me more than I do them. I'm surprised you didn't mention moon in relationship with Pluto. I have this aspect and from my personal experience and research this is the most painful moon aspect. However as you mentioned after age 36-36 maturity has kicked in and I'm much better explaining and understanding the world of emotions.
Lada, regarding the planets 4 places from the moon, would you only count in the direction going forward (counterclockwise) or clockwise as well. I ask because I have both Saturn and Mars 4 places from my moon but they are in my 7th house and my moon is in the 10th house. Is this good capacity?

Ketu and Rahu on the axis of 1st and 7th are always tough for relationships(20)% of humans have this and are very sensitive in interpersonal relationships--relationships are more karmic for them--Rahu in 7th has not done relationships in past lives much--they have focused on self and other things hence fear of commitment in this life(fear of the unknown), but you have a good capacity for relationships overall so you should start trying. Rahu in 7th needs to try its hand at relationships because it is the fastest path for growth for you in this life time, even if it might not be the easiest. You will do better with foreign partners or such who are somehow different culturally or status wise than you. Rahu in 7th house gives better relationships from 35 onwards when the person has tried a few relationships and has learnt how to do these.

If someone is born with Saturn conjunct the moon, this means they were born in Sade sati. I have moon conjunct Saturn by 1 degree in scorpio in the 5th house. The moon receives a full opposition aspect from Venus in Taurus and the moon is the ruler of my chart so the debilitation is cancelled for me and turns into neecha bhanga.
In any case, on the upside this moon Saturn conjunction gives one a tremendous store of resilience, both inner and outer and it is said that only old souls are born in it. In addition transiting Saturn is sitting right on my moon right now so I'm in the heat of Sade sati, although I can say I'm not feeling much different from how I normally feel even though this is supposed to be a dreadful time traditionally. There have been some outer challenges but on the inside I feel strong and optimistic. In addition, Saturn on the moon can give discipline, persistence and a hardworking nature, one who is willing to put in the time to achieve what she wants to.

Because when I place my moon as my ascendant in the first house...Everything about my life makes sense. When I read my natal chart Pisces Sun...Gemini Rising...Sagittarius moon....Nothing makes sense...if I switch and put my moon as my ascendent in the first house and gemini in the 7th house everything makes perfect sense...it tells the story of my life perfectly...So, I only read my astrology chart with moon in first house as Sagittarius. The aspects only count if the planets come four planets after the original position, right? If they are four planets before the original position, that doesn't count? It only goes one direction?
I have ketu conjunct moon and the rest of the planets are square the moon including sun and mars..you gave me insight watching your videos, I have huge issues with reception indeed...I won't let even my mom pamper me. That Chiron is in a grand square, opposing Neptune, Saturn and Uranus in the 4th, and squaring Venus in the 1st and Mars in the 7th. So... Venus and Mars are opposing each other and squaring the guys in 4th too. In here, the Moon just opposes Neptune.
