Thanks for another great lesson. I notice how you never need to turn the page. You make all your strokes with the page in the same orientation. You learned how to draw without rotating the paper and this is indicative of years of practice and skill. Another common theme from your instruction is "just enough" rendering. You say "Petals are not thick or dark objects, so if you give them high contrast, they get awkward" - of course. I was surprised you used straight diagonal lines for the stem and not curves to convey the cylindrical form. It works wonderfully!

I never know when to stop rendering. It seems less is more according to the material, light and to help describe the object.
