- Attempting to not insult the English with my lack of etiquette, I decided to become the first American girl to try this MASSIVE English Afternoon Tea Challenge from Take 5 Tea Room in Lincoln, England!
I had 30 minutes to finish 4 different sandwiches, salad, fruit, a quiche, sausage rolls, a Scotch egg, cheese and crackers, a scone, a cupcake, salt and vinegar crisps, 3 helpings of jam, butter, and cream, and a large cup of coffee. Winners earn the £20 meal for free and a spot on
Take 5 Tea Room's Wall of Fame! Only @Beardmeatsfood had been able to beat this challenge!

About Me:
I'm a 5'2 former women's physique bodybuilder on a mission to sample delicious foods from around the world! I tackle restaurant challenges, sample new food menus, and explore the unique eats in various cities. To balance out the calorie intake of weekly food challenges, I continue to pursue my love of fitness through extreme athletic adventures such as ultra-running and biking. I hope you'll join me at my table!
I’ve just discovered this channel and as a Brit am using it to plan out where my next 52 brunches of the year will be 😂
You rock.
🤣
Beardmeatsfood did this. He was the first guy in the picture she pointed out. I keep trying to get them to do a collab 👍❤️
I love how the crowd hyped her up 😂 really sweet
Nicely done Katina! Also, only 20quid for all of that food? A definite bargain and well worth the price!
Bet the price shot up now tho unfortunately
You popped up on my feed yesterday and I must say, you seem like a very respectful, polite and graceful person. Even in a challenge, you ate gracefully and commented how delicious everything is, it's pleasantly surprising to see an eater like you.
I always think there isn’t much difference between British and US people until you put them together, you notice it so much 😂😂
I love how Beardmeatsfood just rocks up and does the challenges whilst occasionally engaging in awkward conversation with the locals whilst you and Randy get a whole crowd set up. Is that an American/British difference? We generally avoid the limelight whillst you guys tend to embrace it!
You might say the Brits are more conservative? I don't know, I appreciate the warmth from Britain
Americans tend to be narcissistic. For some reason, everyone here wants to be on TV. Point a camera at an American and 9 times out of 10 they will make an ass out themselves inside of 2 seconds.
No.
The amount of “whilst” in this thread is ridiculous 😂
It’s all dependent on the person. There’s Americans who avoid the spotlight and are more reserved.
That afternoon tea looked so delicious! I've been looking for an afternoon tea around me and hope I can find one for the holidays. Quiche Lorraine refers to the Alsace-Lorriane area of France, which is near Germany and Switzerland. I love cheese sandwiches with Branston pickles (a kind of chutney or relish that I get at World Market).
Fond memories of quiche. When i was skint, looked through the reduced stuff in the s/markets, there was always quiche that was half price, or less. Loved 'em ever since. It always baffled me as to why, nay, still does.
Chocolate Oranges are a Holiday thing in the States, but they are always in season at chocolate shops.
Exactly what I was going to say!
Never even heard of a chocolate orange but I’m about to check it out
@@jeanakatherine9369 they are so good
They now have them in both milk chocolate and dark chocolate. They are both amazing! Who knew that chocolate and orange went so well together? I'm in the States and I get them whenever I see them.
@@sheilacarroll7143 I saw about 5 varieties last December
You did that challenge very tidy while still keeping a great pace. Awesome video Katina!!
Congratulations Katina! I’m so proud of you! Much love❤️
I'm obsessed with watching you your humour and way of eating is soo nice and satisfying
Nice job Katina, love watching you eat and beat challenges...you go girl!!!
Girly, how tf do you eat like this several days in a row and still be as fit as you are?? When Erik Electric does a challenge, he spends the whole week after eating lettuce and baked chicken then marathon biking! I'm fascinated, truly
she lifts weights which in the long run burns more calories than cardio, but I’m sure she does both. Most likely lifts everyday plus lots of walking. Overall a very active lifestyle.
I think she also does ultra marathons which is pretty impressive!
She's practicing sports and healthy diets on a daily basis...these are just challenges not her life style
I love it!!! So fun and different from pizza, burritos, breakfasts and of course hamburger challenges... That strawberry jam and clotted cream looked so good on the scone..... LORDY!
I am so happy you are out there doing these vids. Always have a great time. cheers.
Nice win. I imagine these challenges are easier with the variety of savoury and sweet and range of flavours
You did an awesome job on the food; it really looks good. Thanks for sharing this video
After watching you eat all kinds of English food and enjoying it I must say that it looks Yummylicious and delightful !
Great job Katina girl you are always entertaining and make me smile 😊
Awesome job Katina you are definitely a legend in the making since this is the second time you have beat the legendary Beard meets food
In my opinion you have your own style of being posh that as a long time KiloKrew member I always enjoy your unique poshness.
When you did the English accent in the voiceover I loved that I almost spit out my drink listening to you
Keep up the great work
Ha! Just watched Beard's video yesterday and was hoping you'd done it while on your UK tour! I remember thinking, "man, Katina would LOVE this one!"
It's a shame there is such a short time span on the challenge - eating so quickly means you can't relish what clearly looks like a very delicious afternoon tea.
Congratulations on winning! I have never had one of those eggs before. They look tasty.
The French Connection was an awesome movie! Great shout out! Great video.
Loved clicking on this vid and seeing my home town I do hope u got to visit the beautiful cathedral quarters and tackled steep hill!
"Wendlesdale with cranberry " I love how you said that! Also that little cute laugh the whole video 🥺🥺
Wonderful grasp of English - even down to the use of the word, “quid.” Love it.
She’s incredible 😮 good job, Katina.
fantastic win Katina! Your videos are always so entertaining.
Loved watching this live and meeting you both Katina! I’ll hopefully be going back soon to smash this one myself now that I can 😂 thanks for getting me through prep and letting me live through you x
Haha it was great to meet y’all at the challenge! Hopefully your next trip there you can do more than sniff the cake 🤣 hope that your show went/goes well!
@@KatinaEatsKilos you’ll be pleased to hear that I’ve moved on from sniffing and I’m relatively fully functional again 😂 the finals were amazing Thankyou, all aboard the gain train now! X
I love that all the challenges you do are with just amazing and fun food, not any of that gross food challenge/mukbanger/fast food grossness. This is actually so neat to see all the things you try
Yay, that was so awesome!!! Fantastic job 👍
You’re crazy Kay & I love you for it. The ending was the best!
Love Afternoon Tea. Each city I travel to, it is a must do!
Oklahoman here! Our family gets the chocolate oranges every Christmas and this year we tried the version with popping candy in the chocolate!!! Sooo good
I had a piece of cake like that Terry's one from Costa Coffee the other day, it was slightly smaller and that was enough for me, you're amazing!!!
The kid(s) laughing in the background is too cute. Makes for a fun vibe in a posh-like tea place
I love how much she enjoyed this challenge lol. Was like a walk in the park.. a picnic in the park ahah
LOVED the variety!
Not sure if this is helpful advice Katina, but you can put the salad in the sandwiches to consume that way, it’ll make it less dry on the palette!
And yes.. they should’ve provided some pickle with the pork pies, traditionally any way (or chutney!)
Wensleydale & Cranberry is lovely, my favourite all time cheese is actually Wensleydale & Apricot! Next time you’re visiting over the pond, give it a try, it’s delicious! x
I love this girl soooo confident and powerfulllllllllll
As always great video Katina thanks for the entertainment and we'll see you in the next one!!!!!!!!
awesome as always. You make all the challenges look easy now.
Hehe, lots of practice - but thank you!!!
Love the face you make biting into the cupcake at 11:45 completely cross-eyed and giddy with excitement
you go girl you are a inspiration!
Just came across her channel. Immediately subscribed! She is so likeable and awesome to watch
Those do need to be a thing here! Well done Kat, you killed it
Sooooo FUN!! And the presentation what beautiful!! On a cupcake, try pulling it in half horizontally and turning the top upside down. Cupcake sandwich without frosting in the nostrils!! Way to go!!❤
That looked great and a good bit of variety to it, fancy looking challenge.
Awesome job dear that definitely looked delicious.
😎Awesome!!! Everything looks so good!!!
Great Job! Visiting England is on my bucket list, would love to do an afternoon tea! 🥰☕🥪
I already like this challenge just based on the sheer variety of items. It's got a nice balance. I love Terry's Orange Chocolates, so that cake looks delicious. And those are definitely a "thing" in the states, just mostly during holidays. Really, all of that is only $25?? And you say "I eat food for a living" But technically, don't we all?? lol. And wow, still more room for another slice of cheese cake. You're pretty impressive.
Thanks for the vid you have a blessed Soul Katina have a blessed day and blessed life doing what you love and thanks for all you do for us Katina
Randy is a national treasure, keep that man going at all costs
Tea and crumpets, and a lot more, good job Katina.
I ate those crackers with butter earlier today..guess I never grew up! Great job Katina, always entertaining!
Terry’s milk chocolate orange is my favorite Christmas treat. I usually buy 5 or so so they can last as long as possible. We only get them at Christmas here in the Houston area.
Aw, so cute, Katina and afternoon tea 🥰The killer touch: Branston Pickle ❤
It’s soooo good!
Yup, winter is coming. Best be prepared❤️⭐️
Great challenge you killed it as always 👏 🙌 👌 love Lisa n Laura xxxxxx
Terry’s Chocolate Oranges are a seasonal treat to buy around Christmas in the US. Just bought some as a guilty pleasure
Katinaaaa! CONGRATULATIONS on the NEW record and for SMASHING that challenge! You made that look more than easy! On to the next VICTORY! God bless.
By the way; did you say that chocolate oranges weren't a thing in the States? We get them all the time! They are delicious!
Hey, Randy!
That ALL looks sooooo good!!!
You can find chocolate oranges in the states at Christmas time. I was actually looking at them over the weekend trying to decide if I wanted 1 this year, lol.
Love an English tea 👏 looks a good one Katina
Terrys Chocolate orange is a thing here in the states! They r amazing but only a seasonal thing around Christmas, I stock up during Christmas time
CONGRATULATIONS GIRL 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏i had no doubt love watching yours and Randys travels 💛😊🛐🎅🌲
Love this one, Katina. My mother came from Lincoln long ago. (born 1937). ❤️
It was not long ago that beard defeated that and it was a lovley place. Nice to see two nice people back at this place. Good luck!
We do have terrys chocolate oranges in the states . Just around Christmas and only at a few stores but we do have them. They are wonderful
You did this so well!! By the way, if you are ever in Arizona, we have Terry’s Chocolate Oranges! It’s a Christmas tradition!
Hi! My husband and I love watching your's and Atlas's videos! You make such an amazing couple. Anyway I just wanted to tell you they do have Terry's Chocolate Oranges here in New Mexico around Christmas time.
The Terry's chocolate orange cake looks divine!
Terry's Chocolate Orange has been a "thing" in the US even before the original company went defunct in 2005 and was bought by Kraft Foods and Modelez International (now all part of Carambar and Co.), and I remember getting them at Walgreen's as far back as the 1980s (and I lived in Wisconsin, for goodness sake)!
I remember those commercials in the 80s too
I love Terry's chocolate oranges too. They also had a raspberry one but haven't seen it in a long time. Great job on the challenge Katina. It all looked fantastic.
@@MissieMommy518 so when people get that chocolate box, we're the ones that get what's left behind. I like the lemon, orange and raspberry cream
Lincoln Lincolnshire. My home city. I hope you had a great time there. Did you walk up Steep Hill?. Another brilliant upload.
Looked great. Nice video as always good positive fun vibes always thats what i love about yours and randys vids. Great video funny and fun i like assorted foods not just huge amount of one thing very cool. Thanks as always keep up the great work
There's got to be a natural ability to put away so much food. I can barely eat half a sandwich without feeling full most of the time. On top of her skill of chowing down, while enjoying it nonetheless, she's also got a really good personality.
Blimey, half a sandwich?! I wish I had that ability!
I’m same as you but turns out I just have gastritis😍
@@LauraBidingCitizen It's not pleasant, but on the bright side, I've never been able to overeat. It's part of a genetic disorder.
@@cryspell7240 Yeah, I hear you. Not fun. I have something similar (undiagnosed), so I feel like someone who has had gastric bypass.
@@VioletJoy Have you got gastroparesis ? It’s something I believe I have due to my EDS & diabetes. Undiagnosed at present but undergoing tests. I have an eating disorder & it makes things very complicated & very painful, so I do sympathise.
Awesome job Katina!
Well done Katina! I’m jealous of those egg sandwiches!!😜
Can’t beat a bit of afternoon tea 😋 😋 😋 £20 amazing price! BTW you did that in super quick time! 👏 Would have taken me best part of the day 🤢
Terry’s Chocolate Oranges are available in the US (at least on the west coast) in milk chocolate and dark chocolate. But, I only remember seeing them around Christmas time.
There is an afternoon tea called Le Salon at Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. No challenges, but it's definitely a lovely experience.
Here in southern California there are multiple places that serve afternoon tea. Also Walmart sells Terry's orange chocolate around holidays
You can get Terry’s Chocolate oranges at many places in the USA at Christmas time. My husband gives me one every year! It’s amazingly delicious!
My husband loves Terry’s Chocolate Oranges. He buys one every year to eat on Christmas.
I live just south of Lincoln and haven’t tried this tea room. Will give it a go.
Oh u beaute!! Great video as always u little warrior 💪❤️❤️
Sooooo fancy!!! 😆 🤣 😂 Awesome job, sister. Hope you had a great veterans day.
I can’t believe the big guy captured your heart. Lucky fella!
Yhe US does have the chocolate oranges!! At aldi (that I know of) and only around Christmas.
Well done Katina for taking on The Big Massive English tea challenge and you managed to set a new record 😊 Congratulations 🎉 I always enjoy watching your videos and I looking forward to yours and Randy’s next videos Wishing you a very Happy Christmas 🎄 and a very Happy New Year 🥳 for 2023 🍕🍕🥪🥪🥪🍗🍗🍰🍰🍪🍪☕️☕️
I grew up having saltines with a thin scrape of butter, and then cooked in the oven (microwave when I was older, haha). Not many people I know have ever mentioned having butter on crackers.
This is amazing!
I live in California. We have several English tea rooms around this State. I have been to ones in San Diego a couple of times. Everything is so good, and very filling.
Awww so cute afternoon tea love this! 😊
I love , what I believe was a dig at beard. Ordering dessert after the challenge. I enjoy watching both you and beard so I found it funny. Great job with the challenge.
I had to share!.
Pause the vid at 8:17 for the best screen ever.
I love you and randy, been watching for years.
Accidental pause and i couldn't stop laughing 🤣
Happy holidays
Congrats on another win. You finally beat Mr. Beard's record.
It’s just amazing to watch this small woman put away all that food!!! It’s like a magic trick! Where does she put it???
The chocolate orange is a Christmas time candy here in the states for a most part you probably could find them online year round but in stores it's just end of year/Christmas.
It is here in Albion too, Dragon, maybe at birthdays, if ya lucky !
